My parents are albanian, so am I. But i was born in belgium, and we speak french there. And albanians are muslims. So to make it clear, lmao, i speak albanian, french and i'm learning english.

Albanian from Kosova, to make it even clearer. And 90% of Kosovars are muslims.

Yup... That's why we kept it a secret, but her parents and my parents found out about us. Luckily, my parents weren't that strict, as long as we kept it normal and didn't cross the line, but her parents were a bit more strict... probably because she is a girl.

And yes, it's because she's a girl. At least, i think, because muslim parents are more "possessive" with their girl. They want her to be married to a good man but not too young, and they generally want a "fast" marriage.

If you're serious with her, I hope they let you date your girlfriend without any problem though. :y:

I am serious with her, and she is serious with me, but do the parents care? No. They just don't want her to have a boyfriend at all, no matter who, untill she is married.

All this situation right now is really, really tearing me apart, it's slowly killing me. I just have to wait till August to see her again and have it better again, but goddamn, fuck everything that is happening in the meanwhile. Never felt this fucked up before. Problems after problems...

I'm sorry, but her parents are stupid. She'll never get married, if she doesn't have a boyfriend. You have to learn the person before you get married, it's just too.. dumb, a prehistoric mentality.
