Wu-Tang Clan is back on the attack. The iconic hip-hop collective, including Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, RZA, Method Man, Capadonna, U-God, and Inspectah Deck, is aiming for destruction with a new album Legendary Weapons, due July 26.

Executive produced by RZA, Weapons features a throwback sound inspired by classic soul and kung fu imagery, with raw tracks by RZA and members of Brooklyn-based band The Revelations. Together, they tell a tale of the crew’s violent New York street life. Guests include AZ, M.O.P., Sean Price, Killa Sin, and more.

The album’s first single “Only the Rugged Survive” was produced by Noah Rubin and features RZA. Check the official tracklisting below.

1. Start the Show (feat. Raekwon and RZA)
2. Laced Cheeba (feat. Ghostface, Sean Price, and Trife Diesel)
3. Diesel Fluid (feat. Method Man, Trife Diesel, and Cappadonna)
4. Played By the Game
5. The Black Diamonds (feat. Ghostface, Roc Marciano, and Killa Sin)
6. Legendary Weapons (Ghostface, AZ and M.O.P.)
7. Never Feel This Pain (feat. Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Tre Williams)
8. Angels Got Wings
9. Drunk Tongue (feat. Killa Sin)
10. 225 Rounds (feat. U-God, Cappadonna, Bronze Nazareth, and RZA)
11. Meteor Hammer (feat. Ghostface, Action Bronson, and Termanology)
12. Live Through Death
13. Only the Rugged Survive (feat. RZA)

July 26

July 26

July 26

And people said the Wu-Slaughter beef was dead :'(

I always look forward to Wu-Tang releases but this has a lot of features and not so many members on each track, i'll still check it as i'm sure Meth, Ghost & Inspecta will bring the heat, and so do the others most times (U-God, RZA, Rae), Wu Tang isn't as exciting in 2011 as they used to be all those years ago, but i am excited! :flutter:

I still think that releasing July 26th is a bitch move though, I know releases happen on the same day but it seems like a ploy to give SIC lower sales from the underground fans, especially of NY.

But whatever, i get 2 dope Albums on the same day :worship:

I was thinking this, usually on large group releases (like Wu's) they have the artists who are on the tracks as features, maybe the others are skits?

I fucking hate it when group albums that have their artists feature as guest on their tracklist. Wtf do you mean "featuring Raekwon" Raekwon IS Wu Tang-Clan bitch. Whoever typed out that tracklist pisses me off. You don't put "featuring" you simply put their names in brackets. :shakehead:

6. Legendary Weapons (Ghostface, AZ and M.O.P.)

Holy shit.

That RZA track is raw as fuck, I hope the Wu brings the heat on this next album!

Oh shit!

For anybody wondering, this album is the second part of the "Chamber Music" series, (1st one dropped in '09) it's more of a compilation album, so that's my the Wu members are all mentioned as guests
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified
