Another solid review from a good hip-hop site this time. Very eloquent review I think.

I find if funny how Hell: The Sequel is practically critically acclaimed at this point with ALL positive reviews yet his core fanbase is still split in the middle whether to accept it as better than Recovery, Relapse and even fucking Refill.

It really is an inconsistent album – tracks like “The Reunion” don’t offer up much but then the duo comes back hard with “I’m On Everything,” which is probably one of my favorite tracks of the year at this point.

I like I'm On Everything (even though it's one of the low points), but saying that it's better than The Reunion is blasphemy. :shakehead:

Fantastic review. I agree with most of it, especially the shit about Lighters. :y:

Another very postive review. So far this hasn't got under 3.75/5

Another great review, I like that all these critics are saying Lighters doesn't fit, but is well written...many people say the same for LTWYL, and it's true. I wish Em would stop trying to put that ONE song on his album that is hugely successful but doesn't fit.

I guess it makes sense from a sales perspective, but this project wasn't meant to sell, but it will because of Lighters...I like to think, though, that Em and Royce added Lighters to get Royce on the radio, and that it's not for Eminem's sake.

Take From Me is a better song to me than Lighters, most definitely, but as a radio single, Lighters is the better choice. The subject matter of Take From Me wouldn't be very appealing to 12 year old school girls, I don't think...they would like the sound of it, but I don't think they would actually like what's being said in the song...of course, they don't listen to the lyrics hardly, so it might not matter.

Well, i thought that too until i sit down and thought about it.
" Cause I break my back to give you my art, you steal my thoughts
It's like driving a spike through my heart
You might think it's not that big of a deal to steal from me
But music is all I got "

14 years old reaction: "Omgg i'm a frikkin monster i steal music! mom mom eminem brainwashed me! lets go buy his album, we're bad if we don't!!!"
" They'll appreciate me when I'm gone, they say it was ill, right? "
" Always been the type of dude that'll feed my clique
I know that without the fans, I ain't shit
But y'all better read my lips
I don't spit raps this ill, for you to just hack and steal
And leak my shit, so peep my drift "

I don't make money just to LOAN it to y'all

--> How many people feel like this? I did too. I don't want a friendship with someone if all he wants from me is money or even something else.
" I fuck with a few niggas that I know that if my chick was a Shady ho?
Niggas wouldn't think twice before they fuck my wife
Guess that's the difference in friends and associates "

--> I think this song is very relatable. Everyone can relate something like this. staying with people that wouldn't hesitate to steal you everything you got, like.. your girlfriend. Seriously, I CAN relate.

New review from HipHopDX. They seem pretty consistent with their scores:

Nice review, although the score seems arbitrary since they didn't went into too much detail on their text.

My personal review is that it's better. Two MCs consistently one upping each other. Five stars!
