In The Way I Am (the book), he says that he use to fight a lot backstage. That he was nervous and if someone looked at him wrong, he use to jump on him and fight.

I don't know if it's true though, i can't really picture him beating the shit out of someone.

well back in the day, he did throw his fist a few times. Even that bodyguard that wrote a book exposing him said he use to always get into fights for no reason. Especially when he was drunk or high. I remember him fukking up some kid in san francisco when he first started to blow up. By the time the Esham thing happened tho, he had a shitload of security and didn't need to fight his own fights.

TES era was when he stopped really fighting for himself. MMLP after he caught that case, he was never the same.
