Weird, I was playing BP3 for the first time in over a ywar yesterday, and now this thread pops up

I loved it when it came out, played it so much, that beat is just incredible :y:

A little off topic, but BP3 is actually a lot better than I remember it being, Hate, Young Forever and 1-2 other hooks aside, I don't see much wrong with it

That ain't even the half what they might do

That it was an average song by an average rapper but great pr. The whole album was just.... It saddened me to hear something like BP3 cus the whole purpose of the album was to make money and gain popularity. Artiscially there wasn't any respectable point at all: Just listen to the verses of Run this town and Hater.

He could at least pretend that he isn't a sell out. Also rocking crowds with T-pain isn't gonna do himself any favours either...

Lello wrote:yo Lity, any news if either Jay or Ye have any upcoming solo albums?? I think Ye has something planned, but what about Jay, it's been 2 years!!!

Ye announced his next album some months ago, saying it coming out this summer, but i highly doubt it. It'll most likely come out late this year or early 2012..

And nothing on Jay's next LP.. but i'm pretty sure there is one coming :)

anyways to be back on topic: just bumped D.O.A again today, still great. There's a Ye track (forgot which one), I think on graduation, where he uses the word: Begin, Begin, Begin, like Jay does on this song, forgot where though

and Ye used autotune on 808's, how come he didnt' get offended or anything?

Big Brother is name of that song

D.O.A was basically Ye's idea lol

"He actually sparked the idea," Jay revealed. "When he heard the beat he said, 'Man, this is just so hard! This has to be against everything -- no auto-tune, none of that type of stuff!' He didn't know what I was going to do or where I was going to take it, but it was actually his fault...After we made the 'D.O.A.' record about a month ago, we were like, 'if it's got to go, it's got to go
