The reason why people dickride eminem is because he is the biggest rapper on the planet and has music that appeals to everyone and not just hip hop fans in general.

Eminem gets played in rock music stations, hip hop stations, etc. If you don't like it well then eat a dick and too fucking bad because eminem is not going anywhere and will continue to receive the support from his stans.

Also Eminem fans tend to have a very small hip hop knowledge at best

Maybe that's because there ain't no other rapper in the world with as many fans as Eminem.

Take Jay-Z for example. He's one of "The greats", yet he doesn't have half the fans Em and 50 got over here. This has nothing to do with how good they are, but of course Em's gonna have more dickriders when he has twice the fanbase Jay has. Just en example.

That and because a lot of Eminem fans aren't Hip Hop fans, and Eminem may be their first rap artist who they like, but can appeal to fans of other genres and is extremely diplomatic with his style. So yeah, a lot of Eminem fans aren't even Hip Hop fans, and yeah I know being an Eminem fan makes you a Hip Hop fan by default, no need to play petty word games with me, just in case someone wants to go at my post.

No Nas album is as bad Encore, despite being pretty bad, and he's been pretty consistant his entire career.

Its interesting how people act like only liking Eminem in Hip-hop is bad. Yet, some people here ONLY know Bob Marley in Reggae, think the Top 40 is all that pop is, and may only listen to System of The Dawn and/or Linking Park in "rock". Its impossible to listen to all the music there is but for real.... there is NO shame in only liking Eminem in Hip hop.

There's only two reasons I could think of for not liking other Hip Hop other than Eminem.

-Either you're completely ignorant towards other Hip Hop not on the radio, so by comparison of course Eminem's going to look like a god compared to his contemporaries.

-Or you have a completely finnicky taste and you set up a template in that every other rapper you listen to has to live up to Eminem's best traits, but there are few rappers who are as complete as Prime Em. But that's besides the point there's so much Hip Hop aside from Eminem, that only liking him is pretty baffling to me, but I don't really care
