If someone has been here since 2007 contributing then yes...they should be vetted before someone who has been here since 2009.

Wrong man. We don't base the VET status SOLELY on the amount of time on this forum. Mac has never contributed anything to the website, thus, despite the length of time active he will most likely never become a VET.

The ones chosen were decided unbiasedly by ALL the mods and admins based on their contributions and activity over a long period of time. When some forum members learn the difference between a troll and an unfunny repetitive picture posting frenzy, we'll consider giving people the option to vote again. Let's face it, the writing competition was destroyed due to someone voting with double accounts... Do we really want that negativity spread everywhere?

The choices were good ones. Also, we'll most likely be nominating others later this year, and people that were nominated several times now will probably get first step in.

Whatever happened to a list of canidates and then us voting on who we thought deserved it?

A lot of stuff is happening with the site lately, and there are also a lot of members with duplicate accounts. Between that nonsense, the trolls, the dick-riders, the nonsensical hate and immaturity... We decided to give the title to the two most (obvious) deserving members. We'll have the poll back soon for the next vote, as there are quite a few others that deserve the new color.

Nearly every Mod voted, and those two got the 2 top spots. It was all unbiased and based on activity, contribution, and dedication to the site over an extended period of time.

Funny how there's all this "stuff happening" and the site still looks the same and is still dead. Go figure. Congrats to the new vets.

This comment is honestly stupid. Firstly, reply to me saying this is nonsensical as the person to announce the "new stuff coming/happening" was TR himself. Secondly, the "stuff" I'm referring to is morons trolling, people having double accounts, constant immature bullshit throughout the site, dick riding, jealously issues and internal conflicts (yeah, that part is kind of funny).
