Suspect Admits to Shooting Tupac

Postby macdaddy019967 » Jun 15th, '11, 21:26

(AllHipHop News) A man has admitted to shooting rap star Tupac Shakur in 1994 after allegedly being paid $2,500 dollars by James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond inside Manhattan's Quad Studios in November of 1994.

Dexter Isaac, a former friend of Rosemond, is an inmate currently serving life in prison for murder, robbery and other offenses.

Isaac came forward Wednesday (June 15th) with the information on the eve of what would be Tupac's 40th birthday.

He confessed to his involvement in the November 30th, 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur to AllHipHop.com, after Jimmy Henchman identified him in a statement, relating to Henchman's indictment for dealing numerous kilos of cocaine.

"I want to apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman]," Dexter Isaac told AllHipHop.com from prison. "I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie's] mothers some closure."

Henchman, who is currently on the run from Federal officials, claimed that Dexter Isaac, along with other incarcerated inmates were cooperating with the government in an investigation of his alleged drug dealing activities.

"If the government is relying on informants like Winston “Winnie” Harris, a convicted drug dealer and Jamaican deportee, who came to me and motioned via hand signal that he was forced to wear a wire and begged me to skip town or Dexter Isaac who is serving life in prison plus 30 years, then I’m sure I will not be offered a fair trial," Henchman said in a statement released to AllHipHop.com in May of 2011.

Dexter Isaac told AllHipHop.com that he decided to confess to the robberies to prove Jimmy Henchman's involvement, in addition to clearing his conscious for the shooting.

Isaac said he was comfortable going on record relating to the robbery and shooting, since the statute of limitations had expired. Legally, no one can be prosecuted for the assault at this time.

Isaac was a lifelong friend of Jimmy Henchmen, who helped the former mogul set up his first company, Henchman Entertainment, in 1989.

Isaac claims he never cooperated with the government in any investigation, and Jimmy Henchman's allegations infuriated him.

Isaac, who is also from Brooklyn, has long been suspected of being involved in the Quad shooting of Tupac Shakur, along with an associate name Spencer "Scooter" Bowens, who is also serving a life sentence.

According to the confession below, Dexter Isaac not only knows what happened to Tupac Shakur's jewelry, but he claims he is also in possession of the Hip-Hop star's chain that was taken during the altercation on that infamous night on November 7, 1994.

The shooting on November 30th, was the start of a deadly feud that resulted in the murders of both Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.

Their murders have never been solved.

Isaac was indicted by the government in 1998 and was subsequently sentenced to life in prison for murder, robbery, fraud and witness intimidation charges.

[Editor's Note: His entire admission involving his role in the Tupac Shakur shooting in 1994 is listed below, along with his contact information for verification purposes.]

No disrespect to the beast Pac, but I think his beef with Biggie was planned and that he did it only for commercial reasons..

I think.. Prodigy? said something related to this.

Rip Pac.

-Prodigy is an untrustworthy attention whore.
-He made Hit Em Up AFTER he was shot the first time. You honestly think Tupac, already one of the most popular rappers, did that as a marketing scheme? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Okay, calm down and don't act like an asshole.

Yes, I think he knows that Biggie or his crew didn't shot him. And that's why I said I think, i didn't expose a fact, i just stated what i think.

I do think they both had more attention after Pac was shot and when the feud began, you can't deny it. Even non-rap fans were interested by their beef.

I was insulting Prodidgy, not you, sorry.

Yeah they obviously got more attention, but that's not why they did it. And no, i think Pac did blame Biggie, I don't feel like going over all the evidence right now, but I don't think he said shit over nothing.

Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Puffy / Bad Boy Records
This is mostly where all the beef started. The day after Tupac was shot, Tupac was heading to a studio to record a track. While he was walking up to the building, he saw 2 suspicious men sitting down reading a newspaper, as he reaches the lobby to get buzzed in, these 2 guys approached him from behind and demanded they get on the floor and give them their jewels. Tupac was then shot 5 times, and proceeded to the studio where he seen Puffy, Biggie, Lil Shaw, and many other Bad Boy members. This lead Tupac to believe Bad Boy Records had something to do with the shooting, or had it set up.

I'll be fair, i don't really know what happened. I only watched like 2/3 documentaries, the biggie movie which isn't really a reliable source lmao, and read articles about this.
I always thought 'Pac blamed Biggie/Bad Boy members like it's said in this site. (http://www.tupachq.com/rivals.cfm)

So I don't know..

Prodigy didn't even address it properly with claims to back up suspicions, he clearly just said what he heard and had 0 proof. The two people he cited as ones who could even somewhat backup his claims are dead. That's the extent of his argument. It's not even a thought really. RIP to E Money Bags too.

Jimmy Henchmen is a cocksucker of the highest order. I said this is in another 'Pac post. It was always suspected he was responsible. Unfortunately this is again going to bring up Biggie's name because of the ties Henchmen had with Bad Boy.

On a positive note, my love for 50 Cent just grew some more. If you guys remember, a few years a go the 50 and Game beef escalated a lot more because Yayo and 50 were accused of slapping the shit out of Henchmen's son and bodyguards. Game must feel like a fucking dickhead having Jimmy as his manager when he was responsible for trying to murder 'Pac.

In a space of two days, more comes out relating to Jimmy "Cocksucker" Henchmen.

After 50 and Yayo beat the shit out of Henchmen's son and bodyguards, one of 50's friends was murdered, and that's solved now as well with two of Henchmen's men charged by the FBI. Click to read

I have no idea why Fif's lawyers gave him clearance, but he spoke about Henchmen a little on his interview with Flex tonight on hot97.

Click to listen

Wishing death on anyone is not right, but anyone who's had the displeasure of being around Henchmen would hope Fif's prediction comes somewhat true here, and the "streets wash him up".
