So the line should've been "The white trash star, I fuck an RV up like the name Brett Favre"? Yeah, Good going, Marsh. Way to be subtle about a punchline. Oh and congrats on fucking up your flow by adding two unneccesary syllables.
classthe_king wrote:Nope, I never said he should say that either. He should have came up with a more creative way to use it so that it would move from a decent punchline to a good punchline. That's his problem. Like I said earlier, it's not about the pun, it's about the way you use the pun.

The pun was executed beautifully as opposed to the manner that it was used in I'm On Everything. But, go ahead... execute the pun better and more creatively than Eminem.
classthe_king wrote:So if I can't use the punch better that means it's a good punch? That's horrible logic. It's a hard punch to make work, even if Eminem used it the best he could that doesn't mean its not anything more than decent.
classthe_king wrote:Now he's just dissing Lady Gaga for no reason and it's kind of stupid. Plus it's a really stupid set up, it's like he read it off a laffy taffy wrapper and then used it in a song.

No, but since you think he could've executed it more creatively, I assumed that you would have an example at hand, guess not.
Eminem used it in the most relevant and perfect manner that I can think of at least. RV - FaVRE - White trash. Great conncetions. The pun itself is clever. Ask anyone. I doubt anyone but Lello who's a deluded moron will deny that.
I will now leave, still recognizing said punchline as the best punch Em has ever said. Toodles.
