I treat Kid Cudi, Drake, B.o.B and all those sort of people the same - soft as shit, same as most new rappers. I'm a grown man, I can't be playing that pop music bullshit at my age.

It's why I find class_theking's "06-10 is the best 5 year period in hip hop" SO LAUGHABLE. Dude is a clown

Any serious hip hop head would stop taking you serious after reading that.

The only reason he doesn't like the golden age of hip hop is there were hardly any white rappers who were taken seriously back then, until Em changed the game after Vanilla Ice almost ruined white rappers credibility for good.

I can understand the fact that he's part hip-hop part R&B, but straight Hip-Hop? No way!

Hip hop music is an American musical genre that developed as part of hip hop culture, and is defined by four key stylistic elements: rapping, DJing/scratching, sampling (or synthesis), and beatboxing.

Kid Cudi's music has rapping, sampling and scratching. Kid Cudi is Hip-Hop, end of story.

Don't act all smart "I know what's Hip-Hop" on me!

R&B = Rhythm & Blues

Kid Cudi's music has both rhythm and blues.
Therefore, he's not a rapper.
You're not proving anything here!

You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about

Every rap song has rhythm you fucking idiot. And no, Kid Cudi is not blues. He contains bits and pieces of blues which again, every rap song does.

Kid Cudi raps, therefore he is rapper. It's as simple as that.

Kid Cudi is hip-hop that blends with genres. Yeah, I guess he's not "straight hip-hop" but if he were "straight hip-hop" his music would be boring.

Chris Brown is R&B with Hip-Hop elements, as are most R&B/pop mainstream singers these days (which is why I lol when their fans say rap sucks).

This argument is just :n:

This is what i've been trying to say to him.
Thanks, class....Call me an idiot but you're the close-minded fuck here.

I'm the close minded one? What

You said Kid Cudi is NOT Hip-Hop. Satire said he is Hip-Hop but he blends it with other genres. But he is STILL Hip-Hop. If you agree with Satire then you agree that Kid Cudi is Hip-Hop.

You can say that you don't consider him Hip-Hop all you want, that only makes you wrong. Saying Kid Cudi isn't Hip-Hop is the same as saying Run-DMC isn't Hip-Hop or Sing For The Moment isn't Hip-Hop.

Just because you see it in your mind does not make you correct. I'm not trying to convince you Kid Cudi is Hip-Hop, I'm telling you that he is Hip-Hop. There is no argument.

Why? Because I provided ample proof and all you can say now is I don't consider him Hip-Hop in my mind?

The irony of that post is incredible. Being right and arguing on the correct side and sticking to that is not being biased. Saying something is not Hip-Hop even though it is just because you do not like that style of Hip-Hop is incredibly biased.

Kanye West is your favourite rapper lol, so you're hardly a fan of "proper" hardcore hip hop are you.

To me, Kid Cudi isn't rap. He may be hip hop but 90% of the Rnb singers are hip hop.

Kid Cudi is good though, but i don't know if I could sit and listen a whole album of him. But him on welcome to the world, on T.I album was great, really. His voice + rap verses = good mix.

Well just because you think he's part R&B doesn't mean he is. He's Hip-Hop with blends and traces of other genres in his music. He's just as much Rock or Jazz as he is R&B.

Also, you've said "Eminem sucks" multiple times without saying the current Em is the one that sucks.

He raps. Therefore he is rap.

I really don't understand why this is so hard to understand.
