this list is A JOKE. really, Rolling Papers at number 4? really? that album SUCKED. listen to hopes & dreams and tell me you don't want to kill yourself after. garbage, 3/4 of the album had already been released anyways. GARBAGE. Tech nine, really? not even gonna bother to spell his name in his ridiculous fashion. Tech Nine... ROFL. AND SELF MADE? REALLY, SELF MADE? tahahahahahahah, yeah, that album was gold. GOOD CALL. AND THEY PUT LASERS AT 21ST, REALLY? ONE OF THE BEST HIP HOP ALBUMS OF ALLLLLLL TIMMEEEE AT 21ST? wow. Real hip-hop such as lasers gets no appreciation while Wiz's garbage pop singing soft sellout weed obsessed ass gets 4th. Bad Meets Evil is about the only spot they got right as far as Hip-Hop. complex magazine must not have ever heard the following... "Elmatic" by Elzhi. "Zero Heroes" by XV. "The Drive-In" by The Dean's List. And if they're going with anticipated albums like Finally Famous, then where's Watch the Throne, Tha Carter 4, Take Care, and J. Coles upcoming album? list=joke

Wait, how the heck would you put an album that hasn't been released on a best albums list? :confusion:

Rolling Papers wasn't that bad to me. I liked When I'm Gone (a lot), On My Level, Roll Up, Get Your Shit, and Cameras. I guess it's more mainstream than a lot of people here like, but it wasn't bad. At all. It's a really listenable album that has a ton of replay value, at least for me.

Tech N9ne's album was freaking fantastic. There's so much on that album that is original, creative, and just really fresh in hip hop. It for sure deserves to be on that list, actually higher than it is.

Lasers was pretty bad, honestly. It sounded so unlike Lupe that it was ridiculous. Nowhere near one of the best hip hop albums ever. That's crazy.

Finally Famous isn't anticipated. It leaked.

hiphopdx is basically the only album review site I trust anymore, they're usually pretty spot on. Especially if you combine their review with the average user votes. Its always nice to check out their top albums of the year and pick out a random gem I haven't heard of and they never let me down. Bad Meets Evil also was rated very well by them too, just not top 5 more around 10th I believe. Saigon's Greatest Story Never Told and Elmatic both deserve a spot on that list for sure.

It's not Skylar Grey you idiots :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Consider the source :D
Predominantly, predominantly, everything's always predominantly
Predominantly white, predominantly black
Well what about me? where does that leave me
Well I guess that Im between predominantly both of em
I think if I hear that fuckin word again Imma scream
While I'm projectile vomiting, what do I look like, a comedian to you?
Do you think that I'm kidding?
What do I look like some kind of idi- wait a minute, shit, don't answer that..

The comment is by some random dude called Skyler lol, not Skylar Grey. But it just made me laugh, the dude said Tech isn't great (at least thats what i understood) and then called Lasers one of the best hip hop albums of all the time.
