Your Favorite Lloyd Banks verse?

Postby Almostlity » Jun 21st, '11, 20:19

Hands Down this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QxYmgCXxIw

I got a intergangstress who argue and steams wit reefer
And who flip when I call a bitch like she Queen Latifah

Not all the vehicle's is long enough to stash the streetsweeper
This shit can get uglier than the Master P sneaker

We slidin through the ruckus, wit prada on the chuckus
Soon as spring break ho's home from college wanna fuck us
I ain't here to drop knowledge on you suckas
I'll sick rottweiler's on you fuckas, cops followin to cuff us
Top dollars to discuss this, whole lotta zeros
When it comes to paper I blow a soul outta aero
I'ma break before I lay floor berry
Besides, every rapper ain't a star, nigga plad ain't bulbary

You can't tame Lloyd, smokin by the big screen
You changin the channel looks like I'm playin the game boy
I know to watch botherin ya vision
You reach and I'll put a dot on ya head like its part of yo religion

Why party wit a pigeon?
I'm blowin a 10 cuz Bush handin flyers for a party in a prison
I'm in the gucci vest wit the green and red straps
I'm the last rapper to scare niggas since Craig Mack

Now every morning's a fast start
And there aint problem gettin dressed cuz my closet got more aisles than pathmark
Run, move startin a wave
and leave wit 12 shells in ya mouth like a carton of eggs

I'm the young pimp pardon my age
I don't got long hair but if I did she be puttin my braids
Niggas find what club they at
take 'em wit us, and run a train on 'em like a subway mac

get advances from grey agra
see these record labels got most artists gettin fucked like the gay rappa'

i go the college on the tour
I'm goin down in history nigga, next to Wallace and Shakur

I keep ya ammo clean, text polished in the drawer
Camera's by the hamper that mine into the floor
by now, you probably heard of me
fresh outta surgery, flashy as a fuck, you gon' have to murder me

Burglary, I'm leavin wit cha nike's bergendy, White T, bergendy
you match now, back down
niggas love to hate you, but love you when you disappear
catch me on the boat wit weed smoke and official gear
heavy when I toke, C notes from different years
Besly in the robe, re-motes for liftin chairs

You ain't rich, but we glad to snatch ya
I send cars to crib like I'm a cab dispatcha

you better off wit ya stupid guys, lookin for a coupe to drive
you ain't gettin nuttin but ya french fries supersized
it's a damn shame y'all still local
I'm in a million dollar studio layin my vocals
Nigga

damn......

I did too.

I also liked his verse on "Remember the Titans" and "Christian Dior Denim Flow".

But that freestyle in the OP probably takes it.

I think it's quite clear if you're fair that Banks took Em out on "Where I'm At". It's not as if that song was out of Em's comfort zone either or that he had to conform.

In 2011, I like his verse on Loso's mixtape. To me that's one of the verses of the year, and he embarrasses the lights out of Loso, it's that much destruction, to the point where Loso should genuinely feel a little "Renegaded".
The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".

Of course. I like Eminem's voice more but sometimes I listen to the song only for Banks's verse and that says a lot, because i never do that.

50 Killed that song too :worship:
Banks
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

***** find what club they at
take 'em wit us, and run a train on 'em like a subway mac

You ain't rich, but we glad to snatch ya
I send cars to crib your like I'm a cab dispatcha

And others like:

I don't argue with bitches, that only adds me stress, I'll toss a bitch out the mansion like Jazzy Jeff

Don't talk shit to the stars bro, I'll have more niggas leaning over your whip than a car show

I'm hot now so my meals is home-cooked, I deal with more hoes than a Chinese phone-book

Banks is one of the rare rappers whose punchlines make me laugh out loud.

As for my favorite verse, it's a tie between his Christian Dior Denim Flow verse & the first verse of Til The End:

Nobody dead knew they would die before they woke
It probably started off a beautiful day with weed smoke
Out of last night’s pussy the murder that she wrote
Cold sweatin from a nightmare mind on a c-note
You leave the door open of intensions of fulfillin your visions
Constantly sidetracked thinking about who’s your man and who isn’t
Maybe its necessary...maybe you’re overreacting
Maybe your actual downfall is that hole that you clappin
Maybe ya pullin conversations that are controllin ya actions
Maybe your homie overheard and never told you what happened
You look behind you when you turn the corna
Cause death has promised ya you seen some niggas go before ya
N’ threats are honest…n with that lingering in the back of ya head
Ya know it’s possible that you wont make back in ya bed
The confusion of jealously and dishonor'll spin ya
But there’s nothing that hurt worse then when that gun powders in ya

WOW.
...The mortician of love, sent from above
Forced entry, the more wenchy, the more stingy I become
Been doing this for more than a quarter century, I'm just numb...
