Nope, I think this was part of the plan.
They know "Space Bound" will be huge so it's like a secret weapon. "Lighters" was a secret weapon and... think about it, the EP doesn't have another huge hit on it does it.
"Fast Lane" mildly connected but it's not a commercial song. So I think that they saved "Space Bound" for this moment too, so that they can practically use it as a single to drive sales of the EP. Because attention will be back on Eminem and anybody around him.
And because he's with Royce now and the EP is just out, and "Lighters" is gonna blow-up, it's all gonna tie in and create more attention towards the EP from unlikely fans.
Em and Paul and his whole team have always been very savvy marketers of him, his image and know how to create mystique and "Eminem mania", with timing. I only wish they were more innovative like they were back in the day though with the phone calls and using the material itself and other elements. Rather than just grabbing a pop star for a hook and spitting some emotional shit.
