Yep. Em's verse is way more epic to me.

The way it's delivered, how it sounds, how real his emotion sounds and the structure are superior to Royce's to my ears. Royce's verse was very good.

But, Em's "I have nothing else to give you / nothing left to contribute / but before I go, my last gift to you ladies and gentlemen, SLAUGHTERHOUSE I GIVE YOU!" is fucking epic and phrased poetically.

That verse shows an evolved Em too. The Eminem of... "25 to Life", "Cinderella Man", "I Need a Doctor" is a more grown up, realistic portrayal of the man that he is now. His phrasing is more nuanced and literal, like ending on the words "I give you!...". It's nice writing.

It's similar to like on "I Need a Doctor" when he says "I can endure... NO MORE!"... it's like... slightly backwards / poetic phrasing, or... I dunno, like, cinematic phrasing if that makes sense. As starting the sentence with "I can endure..." would normally result in him or somebody saying something that they CAN endure, but the pause then leading to NO MORE - a much better way of saying he's had enough. And the sort of surprise element of the phrasing makes it weirdly satisfying. He's definitely evolving, and I like it. It sounds more intelligent.

Well, technically speaking, with rhyme and flow - Royce outshined Em a few times. It was pretty neck-and-neck. But I always find Em more entertaining, and I found him more entertaining and his verses better on every track.

Just because, there's more character, tongue in cheek and versatility. He can pretty much touch upon everything where as Royce stays within his safety zone of gangster-ism, his dick (and joking about how much he talks about his dick) and guns.

I know Em is repetitive of late too and it's just 90% women hate lmao but, he can still manage to add enough humour and originality in there to make it fresh I think. Where as Royce isn't really funny, he can come out with the odd witty line but I really don't agree with people saying he's a better rapper than he ever was now.

In flow and rhyme maybe but not as a lyricist. Not to me. I find his punchlines now rarely resonate and are pretty basic, where as back in the original BME days, he had a 'spark' about him like Em, and said things which entertained me, and which sounded original.

How's that? Royce had a better flow and delivery but i think em's first verse is sick
especially this part:
