i bet most of those comments come from justin bieber/ lady gaga/ lil wayne fans. They don't know eminem, they dont know his music but they dont admit to it. Its funny though, because if audi were sueing eminem for having an audi in a music video, everyone would be saying 'the car belongs to audi', 'eminem is doing it for the publicity', 'i fancy justin bieber', and so on. These people need to grow up, or shut up.

People were even more ignorant back when Em first became a superstar and was in his prime. I think he's got a far more sympathetic audience in general these days. Saying that, I think Jay Z has eroded Em's premier rapper status in the UK thanks largely to his blockbuster Glastonbury show in 08.

Even his most commercial album with a bag of hits (The Blueprint 3) which came AFTER Glastonbury only reached #4

Most of his albums either didn't chart in the UK, or charted badly.

and his singles are no where near as successful as Em in the UK either.

Even the D12 albums are a million times more successful than Jay's shit too. - both #1 in the UK

Ok, thanks for clearing that one up. I just got that impression from watching a lot of UK chart shows and just hearing some of the sentiment in the urban scene. Em's sales have taken a knock though, Hell The Sequel was beaten by Jackie Evancho in the UK? Shameful

It would have been awesome if Em did Glastonbury this year like he was rumoured to... but instead they got Beyonce and U2
