i beg to differ......are all of you really that slow to now understand product placement??? common its 2011 for god sake
from the no love video....

I never said it wasn't product placement. I just said that if you're going to wear something anyway, what's the big deal? It helps fund the video so that he can be more creative and get better directors, cameramen, etc.
I'm not slow. I can see that they're placing the watch in the videos and the Dre Beats headphones as well. I'm just not bothered by it, and I don't think it's selling out to accept money for something you're going to do anyway.
Honestly, if you were offered a couple million to put your favorite pair of shoes (or anything else) in a video, would you say no? They're already your favorite shoes. It's not like you're being asked to put on a pair of shoes you hate and advertise them. It's pretty common sense that you'd say yes.
It's not the advertising ruins the video or anything. You can barely even see G-Shock written on the watch unless you pause the video or are already familiar with the brand.
My whole point was that Em wears the watch anyway. Even if he didn't have a deal with the company, which he probably does, you'd still see the watch in videos (maybe not as obviously), but it'd be there, because he's going to wear it. What's the big deal if they take a second out of a video to close up on a watch?
