BISD was dope and i love the 50 cent and eminem collabs. psycho was sick.... patiently waiting was a classic. never enough was dope.... 50 cent is WAY better than nikki minaj, lil wayne, and those other trash artists eminem considers dope for some reason. Eminem was supposed to be on "so lonely" with tech.....THAT would've been sick
At his BEST, at his very very BEST - Power of the Dollar, he was good.
But only good. He was never a brilliant rapper or amazing MC or lyricist or amazing in any department. He was just good. He just was a little unique due to his dark melodic hooks.
"Patiently Waiting" was classic due to Em's production, the hook and Em's verse. 50's verse was a lot better than shit he spits now but his flow was still embarrassing. And his "Never Enough" verse was clearly written by Em. And 50 said when he spits with Em, Em helps him. And that's evident due to how much he 'improves' when he's on a track with him.
As for him being better than Nicki Minaj - definitely not. I agree Lil Wayne etc. are trash but Minaj gets tarred with the same brush due tot he fact she's associated with them. You may not like her style, her look or the music she makes but as an MC, she's better than 50 Cent. Her "Monster" verse alone is better than anything 50 has ever written. He can't flow like that, switch-up that many times etc. she's way more skilled and competent.
GRDT was a classic. The production was flawless but at the same time you can't take 50 cents credit away. he had really good hooks he was a decent lyricists and he was able ride the beat very well. The massacre was also a pretty good album... before i self destruct was pretty dope too. I will admit that i have not listened to much of nicki minaj so i cant really say much about her. 50 cent did turn into an asshole for a bit but i think he in a way realized that. i dont see him beefing so much now a days
