EminemBase wrote:Probably my favourite track on the EP. Em's verse is eargasm.

Especially when it gets to "OUTLANNNDIIISH / THESE WORDDDS ARE WEAPPONS THAT I BRANNNDISH" < THAT is what the 'shout-style' is for. He also maximizes it on his "Fame" (D12 song) verse.

It's only when it's choppy and not as... structured that it's less satisfying. But when he nails it like on this verse, it's one of his most satisfying styles to me. Pure energy and timing.

Em's verse is absolutely amazing!

He starts out with passion but then he hits another level after that build up with 'now I lay me down to sleep, I do this shit in my sleep, I'm sleepin' now, imagine if i awake' and then he hits level 3 with the 'OUTLLAAAAANDISH' part. Amazing. Don't see how people can't enjoy the anger on songs like this.

With the Reunion and Kiss I hope he's realised that it has more impact when the aggressive delivery is used sparingly.

Also ^ he says 'tearable' according to the lyrics booklet but obviously 'terrible' fits in with the whole evil thing.

Partner, you're not hard, I body your hot bars
Beef has left you prayin' right? Like Allahu Akbar
Let's go, when I leave y'all shot, you ain't gon' be on your metro
In a bad area that car drops

Someone let the cat out the bag, now it's time to stuff his face
Back in that bitch, smother that little mothafucka 'til it suffocates

And I pray now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I'm sleepin' now, imagine if i awake
I'm champ bitch, I'll never taste the canvas
Could never be no damn wuss or pussy, never muschi, so you can't squish
No where near toosh, in fact if I jump out a bush
And sneak attack's the only was I say I am bush
Outlandish are these words and weapons that are brandish
Standoffish, to hoes, keep your hands off this
Can't top it, so what the fuck would I sugarcoat it for?

My favorite parts of the song.

I love the sound of the saxophone or whatever it is after he screams 'OUTLANDISH!'

The best song off the EP, I love it.
And everything's spinning
You're beginin' to think women
are swimming in pink linen again in the sink
Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished

Refill > Hell: The Sequel. and it has a much better BAD MEETS EVIL feel to it than "bad meets evil" album.

he should have just saved some verses from refill for it
.

Amadeo wrote:Where are all the lyrics about the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer? Oh that's right...nowhere. Because Eminem/Royce didn't really write to the hook's concept. They just wrote random verses, matching their content to the aggressive nature of the beat.

Blame it on Royce. :coffee:

Eminem had a storytelling and a concept in this track but it didn't match with Royce's verses. So he had to change it.

Since Bad Meets Evil: Hell the Sequel has come out, the only songs I've listened to are Above the Law, The Reunion, and Welcome to Hell. Those are my favorite tracks and are never going to change. Above the Law is crazy, Em's flow is crazy in it. Reunion in the other hand reminds me of Slim Shady. Well.

That annoyed me when I heard it. I mean, I love Em's verse on the song, but it could've fit on any track. The EP really needs more songs with an actual concept.
