And your opinion is invalid. I mean, seriously who gives a shit about technicalities ? :facepalm2

See it is called "rapping" you have to "rap" good enough for a "rap" track to be good,in Like Toy Soldiers,Em's rapping was bad, because of that, from a technical standpoint, the most important point in "rapping" the track is shitty, capiche?

This.

I think there are for sure some decent-good tracks on the album but the bad ones are just so terrible its inexcusable. If he left them out this would be alot better overall.

When your reviewing something you don't skip ones that are bad just so you can give the album a better review :P

Yes, I can skip them, but when I look at the track list overall I can't blur out all the sucky tracks...

I mean, maybe if he even TRIED on them i'd still respect 'em enough but idek what he was thinking on 'em

I don't hate it, it's still better than a lot of other rap albums. But there are too many fun tracks. Good tracks are:

Never Enough
Yellow Brick Road
Like Toy Soldiers
Mosh
Spend Some Time
Crazy In Love
One Shot 2 Shot
Encore
We As Americans
Love You More

Ok, you mean in that sense. True. But it doesn't mean you can't skip them just to like it better (hate it less...)

If an album is enjoyable overall, a few bad songs don't make me hate the album, even if they are truly horrendous. If I had to listen to them every time I listened to the album, I would hate it.. But I don't.

Your right, I don't hate the album...I have my couple I listen to and I enjoy and even the ones I don't like I can appreciate the lyrics even if they aren't on par with other Em songs.

I just wanted to point out how it didn't even seem like Eminem was trying on the sucky tracks though...

i really hope this is some sort of troll

nikkaz need to study this

january,feb,march,april,may,june,july,august,september,october,november,december.

I joined on april 2010

you joined in july 2010

you joined 3 months after me.

on what fucking else other than the join dates could you be reffering too?

@ CREAM,lets keep this umm un-personal because i like you

Man FUCK "technically speaking", that shit doesn't mean anything. Speaking technically them that must mean Sadistik is the best rapper on earth. Speaking technically you're admitting that Hopsin is better than Eminem now, GTFO son. Technicalities doesn't mean anything in real world.

Cramming multies like sadistik does in my book does not make you the best rapper on earth, and no because i consider hopsin a simple lyricist, there is nothing to complex and appropriate about his flow and rhyming, not at all, shame if you think sadistik is the greatest technical rapper of all time, lol @ Real World.

That's bullshit, not a single topic is "played out". That's like saying punchline rapping is played out. That must means the only type of tracks that aren't "played out" are unique conceptual tracks and storry-telling. That must mean EVERY single punchline/horrorcore/jussrhyming rapper is played out

you tottaly missed my point,i do agree that my statement was vague and the expression "played out" can be confusing, but what i mean is that the preaching Em is attempting in the track with all the "beef is a no-no" "beef will escalate" thats just bullshit.

When did he do that ? Not only in Like Toy Soldiers, when did he ever do that ?

he did that in Like Toy Soldiers,he was basically saying that the beef could get somebody shot and killed, and the common rapping expression is "escalate" which means it will develop,in this case develop from rap to shootings and death, even the music video is about Em's buddy getting shot, sorry to bust your bubble

ROFLMAO Mosh isn't a bad track AT ALL and the only thing you can POSSIBLY hate about it is the delivery, and Eminem shouldn't stay out of politics. In case you didn't hear songs like Square Dance, White America and If I Had they're all of his best tracks, and Mosh is a lot of people's favorite track from Encore

no,not just the slurring and the delivery is what bothers me,what bothers me how Em failed to get his points through like he did on the other 3 tracks you mentioned, what bothers me is that the 3 tracks you mentioned are extremely well written and Mosh is not.

For what its worth I agree with this

YAY!

You're basically saying One Shot 2 Shot and Encore are better than Never Enough and Spend Some Time ROFFLMFAO. That's fucking impossible.

i am not gonna pussy out and say that it is my opinion,i am gonna explain why, never enough is a boring track, technically Em is not good on it,and 50 outshined Em there,Spend Some Time had a mediocre Eminem verse, but its not enough, not to forget obie and stat and 50 having bad verses, and i truly cant believe people say Em's writing on this track is anything like TES.

By that demeanor you're basically saying Sadistik is the best rapper on earth, Slug is whack and everyone else you like sucks dick.

Rapping is a combination between someone's writing/flow/rhyming/delivery/subjectmatter/uniqueness and a bunch of other stuff I never heard about, so with the absence of subject matter i'll gladly say Crooked I sucks dick. Harsh judgement ? That's like what you did to Like Toy Soldiers, technicalities doesn't mean fucking shit.

awww, you have no right speaking about crooked because that statement makes me think that you did not listen to enough crooked, you want to see a good political track that is very technical where the rhyming takes the flow to a whole nother level

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEDWc7xlZ8c

good emotional tracks perhaps?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7QdLHW0K30
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5Aotb-fbuk

some extra impressive braggadocio(which is subject matter and content, but some dudes fail to understand this)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH_OfIcUnVY

and in rapping, technicalities are 90% of what matters, the other 10% are the beat (differs for some rappers though)

P.S: content and subject matter counts as technicalities
