First, I'd like to offer a big, generous carton of roflnoggin to everybody sticking to my balls for making this thread like it's so "unspoken" or some shit for anybody besides Eminem, Nas and Biggie to be compared to 2Pac on this forum. Second, thank you diction, for having the most well thought out post in this thread. I was going to say I can't be fucked to read it but 14 black cocks up my ass beg to differ, so I figured I had a few moments to compensate you for your work while I'm stuck over here picking them out.

Honestly you could compare several rappers to 2pac. Scarface, Masta Ace, Ice Cube, and maybe Mobb Deep. But, I don't know about on this forum.

Anyways I'm not going to debate. In terms of discography, impact, and sheer emotion, Pac gets this easy. Budden has lyrics and multies. I'll admit that. But, Pac definetly gets beats IMO.

Maybe I'm missing something because I haven't listened to Ace outside of 2 albums but why would you compare Masta Ace to 2Pac? This is exactly what I meant in my original post. Comparisons like that because they both had "influence" are stupid tbh, because when the actual debate starts initiating it isn't just influence that's in the conversation.

I didn't count impact, yes he has "sheer emotion" going for him in terms of how well he conveyed it in his voice, but bringing emotion through lyricism into the conversation balances it out IMO.

And Pac's beats sucked tbh, so do Budden's, but they've been getting far better as of late.

Well beats could go either way. I guess it just depends on what you prefer.

strip (pause) the dudes from the impact and emotion and focus on the lyrics and flow, what basically make an MC,a rapper,Joe Budden is a better rapper than Tupac Shakur.

and No,what people say about discographies is untrue,i enjoy MM2,MM3,MM4 alot more than anything pac put out,and eventhough they are put out as mixtapes, they aint they are fully themed structured releases, full length albums.

and joey does have 4 albums out,his self titled release, padded Room,Escape Route, and halfway house,i enjoy these releases more than anything pac put out.

joe budden never had a bad phase,he never fell of,he never put out a wack album,he been consistent as fuck.

Self-titled was pretty meh, honestly. It had some great songs but the content was him exemplifying a potentially good lyricist turning to sell-out early.

it is very ironic though, how he started wanting to be a mainstream sensation type of rapper, but its so ironic if you look at what he eventually became,a fucking emotional lyricist.

but fuck it,Joe Budden (the album) was banging if you ask me,some great NBA punchlines too, fire is a dope ass track,i love pump pump pump pump it up!

Joey is jesus!

I had free time and I didn't wanna seem like a muddled bitch who makes a controversial thread and runs away, I just needed to justify myself, that's all. I create my threads like the captain of a sinking ship.

To your post

There's nothing to respond to.

I stated why I don't think this comparison is so unfathomable, why I made this thread, and why I prefer Budden over Pac, responding to mine is as pointless as responding to FreeSpeech's. The bit at the end was a closer. I really don't think a large scale debate over this is worth it considering my perspective of these two as artists. I just thought I would receive interesting feedback, which I did.
