Yea that producer who replied does have a lot of good points. If Wayne isn't satisfied with the beat submissions he's getting then why not spend some quality time in a studio with a renowned producer like Just Blaze or Khalil, who are constantly coming up with dope beats and who have a brilliant track record of producing great songs?

Umm, I agree with a lot of what he said, but do any of you really believe this guy is actually a legit producer working with Wayne? If he is, WTF is he being a pussy and posting a forum comment and not telling Wayne?

In cases like these, I thought producers just submit beats to the offices or something and don't get to actually talk to the artist until their beat is accepted. If he were rejected, the forum would be his only place to vent.

PS: Whether or not he's legit, he's still got a point. Like stillmatic. :shifty:

Haha no. I mean, I'm no record exec, but I'm fairly certain guys like Weezy don't just openly accept beats. You have to have some connect.

And yeah, maybe it WAS stillmatic :shifty:

As much as I agree with him, I think tons of people would die to work with a big name such as Wayne for free. He's one of the few artists that really moves units. Can you imagine some unknown underground producer refusing to contribute with a few beats?

Anyways, I love how he exposed him as a big fucking hypocrite. How can you tell other people to step up their game when you have been garbage and absolutely irrelevant since 2008? And Carter 3 wasn't even close to the greatness of any of the albums he mentioned. It is only considered a classic amongst kids who fall for the industry's dirty tricks.

Another thing I liked was the thing about Jay-Z and Nas had proved themselves to be greats before they started bragging about it, and of course the Bangladesh part regarding the choice of first single of C3 and C4.

Not sure how much I agree with him about the "social commentary" thing. It's not necesarrily a must that you have to connect with your audience in a certain way although I do agree lyrics about money and bitches are tiresome.

I don't know if he knows Wayne or not. And if he really does then the forum post is pussy like you said.

But, I just thought a lot of his points were funny and totally on point.

I doubt he'll be acquainted with Wayne. There are ways for unknown beatmakers/producers to send beats to artists and/or managers of artists. Sites like istandard and pmpworldwide provide those avenues so he is probably just a beatmaker who submitted stuff that way.
