Could go on forever thinks topping his best work like emshow with original hooks and unique beats all done by him is now getting stolen loopy beats that been used by artists before and stolen corny hooks? Skepta is really popular in the UK. His biggest hit was Rescue Me, which was all over MTV and radio last year (and it's very good imo).

I knew everybody on here would hate a Skepta beat though. But that's what rappers on the UK use. A British person wouldn't bat an eyelid if they heard that beat on the radio.

I agree with KieranLewis. Em's hooks have traditionally been a strength of his and feature massively in his best work. They just further defined Em as a hit-maker and artist to be reckoned with. I also hope the Recovery theme and Em's personal struggle wont be used in a future album and he gives us some creative external insight.

Please it's not like this is confirmation that the song with this hook will be released on an Eminem album. He records lots of songs only a few make the album. The rest is shelved or given to someone else, maybe one of his Shady artists. Personally I hate the hook, it's dull. At least get someone else to sing it.

Jimmy Iovine "buying" a part of a song for Eminem is an absolutely ridiculous idea. I know it seems to happen a lot these days with hooks being bought and offered eg. Airplanes, Love The Way You Lie etc. Whatever happened to the good old dayswhen the artist was responsible for the whole of the song?

I'd understand if the producer or Dr. Dre/whoever is in the studio with Eminem and they think up a chorus, but buying one from an artist thousands miles away and getting Eminem to put a few verses on it just ruins any artistic merit of the song for me. Eminem will now have to make up some shitty lyrics that relate to the chorus of the song because all the 14 year old girls will be able to sing along and add it to their playlist alongside Justin Bieber.
