I was just doing a random search to test it "not afraid"....and it kept searching and searching but never find the results...I hope you know what I mean...Right now it works...

SaJn, this is about the website, not the forum.
You should be on my side here, we're family, but there's a line, and you've crossed it.

Right, I'm over it. Here's another lovely fact about the 'new website' that's launching in a matter of days: it'll speed the forum up a lot, and it also means the website will be blinding fast. They'll be on separate servers for the first time ever and I know what I'm doing with regards to server administration now (sorry for that wait ya'll), so things are going be running smoothly round about these here parts.

Don't like this idea. Actually I think we already have this option.

But based off this idea, how about an email / PM (if possible for PMs?) automatically gets sent out to users telling them when a new song drops or something like that.

We're all too focused on the forum, and I think the main entrance to the site needs a lot of work. For example the Music Videos section on the main page, trshady.com, doesn't even have Recovery videos. Or Bad Meets Evil.

I think the overhaul should start with the main page and work it's way into the forum. For starters, just to make the site look appealing to newcomers, both the main page and the forum should follow the same colour schemes. Very basic but what's the first thing that catches your eye when you check out a new site? The information? Not likely unless you're on Wikipedia. The colours and appeal make you want to explore the rest.

Just my thoughts. I'll think of other things.

from a technical point .. i think you should provide an admin cp for new content that can be managed by some trusted user..

someone awesome like me who managed trRecords for some time...

and I am not exactly sure about the copyright laws at this time but the videos section can be real downloadable videos directly hosted by the trshady domain.. if possible that is.. but still i am not sure about the trshady allowed bandwidth and online storage as well. it would take a hit IMO..

what about the pages you have currently.. are those using some sort of a CMS or is it static.. if you can make some pages CMS controlled dedicated users can update quicker...

and u can give a technical boost up as well to the look and feel.. using some ajax will help u know..
