Definitely has helped me, especially during my last two years in high school, its different here in England, from 16-19 i always listened to him. I went through certain issues during these three years, lack of friends and girls etc, but i at the age of 17 through his music, as i took a break from rap ever since 2005 until 2009, and when i listened to rap i went back to listening to him and through his lyrics and really reading about his early life he taught me not to give a shit. Like now, i wear, do what i want without giving a shit and i feel liberated. Might seem cliched, but honestly not just his music but the way he lived his life from what you read makes you think its not that bad. But its not just his music, other music helps, but considering im Muslim i tend to end up looking for my religion which helps also, everyone has a different way of dealing with problems.
