This one here is for all you hardcore fans out there.
Eminem has pretty much rhymed the whole dictionary in the last 15 years and there's a few rare occasions where he, conciously or unknowingly we will never know, recycles his own rhyme schemes.
I was inspired by another thread that pointed one of them out and I'm trying to get all of the reused rhymes together. So all of you who have his discography memorized, help me.
Let me start off with the ones I found.
- Lighters:
"Just to get to this place
Now let these words be like a switch blade to a haters rib cage"
- Rap game:
"Switchblade, with a little switch to switch blades
And switch from a six to a sixteen inch blade"
Of course this one isn't the same rhyme scheme at all, but he rhymed switchblade on both occasions.
- Words Are Weapons:
"My mind is like a fuckin stick of dynamite
Onen I get behind the mic
it's like the wick is lit you bitches die tonight
My nine is like a guidin light at night shinin bright"
- Must Be The Ganja:
"When I'm behind the mic, dynamite's what it's kinda like
You're stuck with the same stick that you're tryna light"
This one is obviously pretty similar.
- Infinite:
"a zany acting maniac in action"
- I'll Shit On You:
"Over reaction is my only reaction which only sets off a chain reaction
that puts five more zany actin' maniacs in action"
And then he also recycled his Brett Favre/fuck my RV up and the cock block/square male chicken punchlines, but the other two occasions on which he used them were on songs that weren't officialy released.
