He's pretty blunt and straight forward now... albeit more powerful and engaging maybe but still, the lyricism on JW2 for example is just awesome I think.
And yeah, his punchlines on like "313" are class. And much better than recent ones.
It's also crazy how quickly he can evolve or change his sound, as... he went from Infinite to The Slim Shady EP in like a year. He can make quantum fucking leaps in a tiny amount of time. When most artists take an entire career trying to make leaps as big.

his new music appeals to a wider audience, which is good for him and for rap as a whole as it gets more people 'hooked', but it isnt really a good thing for his fans. His older stuff like Infinite is what most of his fans remember him for, recovery doesnt really feel like it is the same eminem. But then, it isnt really because he used to be slim shady, now he is eminem (he was slim shady for a bit on HTS it must be said).

Thats kind of what i meant, but i would call 'Slim Shady' a style, like i would call 'eminem' a style. what i'm saying, is that songs like spacebound are different to, say, go to sleep. This is the different styles/ personas/ alter egos that marshal uses, and recently it seems he has been eminem more than slim shady. He has been less agressive in his lyrics, and the beats he has used dont sound as 'aggresive'. Sure, he didnt make the beats himself, but hopefully you get what im trying to say. (I know what im trying to say, i just don't know how to say it)
But i do agree, that he is the same person in all his albums.
