Relapse is insane in the lyrical complexity department but look at it this way; In Relapse, you'll hear Eminem pulling random words out of his head and putting 'em into a sentence and making them rhyme and work at the same time because, with his subject matter, he could say whatever he wanted about anything, it didn't matter if he exaggerated.

And more importantly, and i've said this before, that accent is like a cheat when it comes to rhyming. He can bend words and have hundreds more options that he would have otherwise.

So I would not put Relapse up there with MMLP/SSLP or TES as far as rhyming with purpose using words that fit that you wouldn't normally think of. I say MMLP/SSLP have the best rhyming when it comes to stuff in the back of your mind that you have to rewind and think about, but TES whenever you take into account every other aspect.

You fucked up on the rhyme scheme highlighting. "Never get the props" and "served my spot" have nothing to do with each other.

However, "never get the props" and "spot is forever" is an inverse multi...and I just noticed that now that you posted this.

"Ever deserve" goes with "never be served."

You forgot to bold "platinum status," which goes with the rhyme scheme.

Also, there's "go forth and back" and "full blown attack."

Honestly, I don't know why so many people on this board are incompetent when it comes to highlighting rhymes. Even worse is morons in this thread saying the verse isn't complex.

Those two things aren't multis.

Rhyming hated with discriminated with demonstrated is not remarkable. He only really turns up the multis in the second verse, and a tiny bit in the third.

yup have to to agree that so was a lame start but as i said i just pointed it out but that does not take away the fact that the song is not that focussed on the rhyming dept and only the message/story as you mentioned earlier.
