as i lay dieing
all i can think about is you
your face is the only thing i see as the blood pours from my wounds
i reach out to touch it but it slowy disapears
leaving me alone with all my doubts and fears
darkness closes in and i begin to feel cold
im only 17 but i feel 100 years old
im so tired of the stuggles, the torture and the pain
my soul is weary from sleepless nights waiting in vein
as the blood seeps sweetly from my wrists
i dream about those lips i never got to kiss
i begin to cry for i know my end is drawing near
and i just want to draw my last breath as you hold me dear
i take a shallow breath and look around
but the only thing i see is my blood on the ground
so i decide its finally time to let go
dieing with the knowledge that youll never know
my love for you was deep and true
and as i layed dieing.....
all i could think about was you

Oh, I can see exactly how you feel. Very deep, and yet so short. To be able to get your point across is so few words, is portraying skills. Great piece, and yet, so sad...

thank u.... and this is a very personal peice.......

usually it takes me a couple trys to get a poem right, but this was a very unique composition..... i just sat down and started writing, and i got it right the first try.... i only had to add a few words wen i typed it out.....

but i intended for it to be relatively short in length, yet pack a punch..... its suposed to represent a solom surrender........

i know its sad... but i was sad wen i wrote it... and writing it was a very emotional expeirience... i cried and just kinda reflected on my thoughts... my poetry is really my theropy

That's when I write my best stuff, but then if the wrong person gets there hands on it, I'm in trouble for what I wrote. You know?!? I try to just keep it in my head, or on the computer, that way it's for me, and if I want to share it with others, for them to see.

thanx..... and i think everyone can relate to it in one way or another,,,, we've all had that one person that we love and seek there aproval, yet never seem to get it.... it dont matter if its a parent, or a gf, or a bf....... i think everyone has just felt like giving up on sumthin at one point in there life......

dont let certain elements take u out of the peice. see the poem for wat it is..... and try not to concentrate so much on the sucicidal element....... its a representation of undieing love, and a sweet and solom surender..... as if to say i will always love u, and no matter wat, even on my death bed, i will always love u... u will always be my one true love.... and tho things did not work out, i will die wishing they did......

i dont know.... its kinda hard to explain... i emailed him this, and just a letter... hoping he would get the message.... but hes probly just gonna asume im a sucicidal freak.........

i donno.... i guess the poem is about a never ending obsession and a desperate attempt at release and freedom, yet... ultimately imprisioning urself by death..... forever reliving the tradgic events..... spending an eternity watching ur love from a far knowing that he never knew how u felt and that u could never be with him.... not even in death... it is a tradgedy.....

lol, I was talking about gory things in movies . Not about the poem. But I must admit, whenever I read sumin that says anything to do with slitting wrists I just think of an image in of someone cutting their wrists, and it just brings a shiver down my spine lol. I could never do that, idk how people do. I'm not saying I saw your poem as suicidal, cos I didn't. I'm just saying when I read sumin to do with cutting wrists, that's the image that comes to my head, and um....yeah lol

and then they scalped another dude.... i didnt really like that too much..... and then they skinned this one girls dads face, and he wore it........

but the most fucked up thing is, i heard from sumone it was based on a true stoery and that doctor satan was a real dude

I would actually like to see that lol. I haven't really seen many horror movies, i wanna see more . I watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre not too long ago (the newer version) and I don't know if that was really gory, but um....if you seen it lol, remember the part how the killer has that guy hanging up in his basement, and he's still alive - but his leg has been chainsawed off, and the killer grabs a whole bunch of salt (I think that's what it was ) and shoves it onto where his leg had been amputated. Oh man, that would seriously sting!

but... i havent seen the new one... well... just bits and peices.....

but i am a big fan of the older ones.... and the "killers" name is leather face. it is the most awsumly awsome horror movie next to the childsplay collective, friday the 13th, saw.... a bunch of others..... and evil dead

evil dead is a cult clasic from the 70s... and theres 3 movies in total... and its so awsum, cus the dude cuts off his hand, cus it became posessed..... and he replaced it with a chainsaw... and its just so freakin cool cus hes got the chainsaw for a hand, and in the other, hes got a double baral shot gun.... and its just..... :wub:
