Accent vs Shouting: Which is/was more annoying?

Yea but c'mon, he only shouted sparingly and saved it for when he was genuinelly pissed off/angry (The Way I Am, Go To Sleep, Girls etc). Now he just shouts on every track for no apparent reason, so there's a clear difference.

i dont think he means to shout anyway, i can remember him saying he wanted to put some emotion back in to what he was rapping instead of goofing around with stupid accents on relapse.

The accent obviously. The only reason I don't mind it as much as the shouting now is because he isn't using the accent any more, and hasn't done in a while. If he suddenly stops shouting in songs, I'd probably appreciate the 'shouting' songs more just like I did with the Relapse ones.

Well I mean, it worked when he first came out with it. I remember when "Despicable" dropped and the net went crazy because he just sounded so raw and hungry... people were like "holy fuck Em just murdered the Over and Beamer, Benz or Bentley beats". And it worked with stuff like Almost Famous, too. But now its just so played out to me... probably even more played out than the accent became.

People who say they cant stand the shouting Im assuming you're not a big fan of MMLP either? The shouting on Amityville is worse than any song on Recovery.

I don't mind the shouting on some songs but you can't be serious.

I love the accent as long as it stays with the serial killer/rapist songs, it makes them better to me for some reason. I don't exactly mind the shouting, but it actually does get annoying and occasionally I just listen to the first half of the songs where he shouts and then move on.

Shouting is more annoying.

Shouting, by far. At least the accents were bearable and he stopped using them. It doesn't look like he'll quit shouting anytime soon, which makes it more frustrating.
