Accent vs Shouting: Which is/was more annoying?

I think he uses his voice according of the song, on some of it must send more power (remember Eminem is a fan of Rock), and on others he must play with and modulate his voice differently,
it's what do all the rappers who know use their voice, otherwise it becomes monotonous and flow is better.
But why do a relation between accent and not shouting?

Because you said you didn't like the shouting and I'm trying to gauge what people mean by that. I would say he isn't on Fast Lane but he is at the end of the Living Proof verses, for example.

Ah okay, fair enough. Yea Fast Lane is a good example of him coming close but perhaps just being off the fringes of what I'd class as shouting. But even with that elevated, slightly aggressive voice though, I still don't particularly care for it. I still much prefer his "normal" voice.

It's horrible and I commented on how montonous it was after the first listen of Recovery. It's got worse post-Recovery because his voice has become hoarse (due to the amount of shouting he was doing). It's contrived and just doesn't sound good, most notably on 'spitting' tracks

Also, can people not realise that the shouting in his prime sounded good and his shouting now doesn't. It's really not rocket science - so stop all the "but people like da no apologiez and da till i collapse and da wayz i am so it dont make no sense?!"

Yes that might be true but in the end, it comes to personal preference/choice. Shouting in his younger days was much better but that accent is just horrible. He did indeed run it to the ground.

Accent is obviously better technically. Shoot, the accent, from a technical stand point, might be the best thing he's ever done. BUT I think the shouting is more Eminem and allows him to get a point across and be more emotional and connect with the listener.
