So the only thing I have to do is assemble a team? What do I do during the season?

You can swap subs around (depending on if people get injured) and there are some opportunities for transfers.

I don't have time to really do that, so I'll be trusting my starting 11 to do the business.

Takes about 15 minutes to set up.

Just joined the thing. Is it any disadvantage naming my squad and asking for tips on being successful round here?

It's no disadvantage to tell us who you've chosen unless you think you've made a really clever choice that nobody else would have thought of.

But I reckon we will all have more or less the same teams. The one that wins usually picks out someone at random who does really well and also manages to pick the right high profile players that do the business, rather than the big names that play shit. Also if you pay attention and make subs when you know a player isn't playing then obviously you can get more points, but I don't have time to do that!

I always pick Rooney, but theres always a bunch of strikers that cost less and scores more goals.

And i dont know much about the new teams that came up, no player that i really recognise. And i havent seen hardly any of the transfers.

We played terribly today and deserved to lose.

Having said that, United will win nothing with that keeper and finally, we beat the cunts when it really, really mattered last season. This was just a friendly.

Oh, and Rooney is a classless cunt.

^You do realise this is De Gea's first game in England and he hasnt even worked with the coaching personal right? People need to chill, the kid's got talent. Cant call him great nor write him off yet.

Our attack is mesmerizing. To think we ddnt need Bebatov, Hernandez or Owen and still probed the way the second half went is phenomenal. Only "weak" position i guess is the defensive midfield role as i think this whole "ambition" to out-pass Barcelona (read Sneider pursuit) is folly and a more practical signing would make us immaculate.

That said, great entertaing game. Cleverly gonna shock people

I don't deny that you have a cracking side. I thought for the last couple of years that you were on the slide, but you look to have some great youth coming through.

That's what happens when you have been at the top for years, you can afford to let players develop until they are ready. At city we need players NOW, no youngsters really get a chance because they just aren't ready.

You don't topple a dynasty like united in 3 years, but give us 10 and we have a chance.

With Sneijder you will run away with the league, I hope we can snatch him :coffee:

Why would you want Ferdinand to retire?

Anyway, the most stupid placements for friendlies coming up this week. It'd make more sense for them to have the friendly before the international, that way, you can gather the squad and get them a practice together before. Makes no sense when Clubs are readying for the new season.

I'm guessing a sub-standard England Draw against the Dutch.
