So a thing about Eminem at Lollapalooza.
It was the end of one of his songs, and the whole crowd was screaming so loud. And when everybody quieted down a bit, he lunged his body forward and there was a gunshot noise. And everybody started screaming again. And then he put his finger to his lips to get us quiet. And not even in one second, EVERYBODY got quiet. Nothing. There was nothing to be heard. And then a smile slowly spread across his face, a little bitty smile. But it was enough for me. And it was fucking adorable. When he smiled I felt like at that moment, nothing in the world could make me happier than I was.

I just read it off Tumblr and I was wondering if anyone attended the show or has any info on this?!

Whew. When I saw that Em spit out the water instead of drinking it, I had a little moment of panic. "Wait, they really just gave Em a bottle of vodka and trusted that he had enough self control to not swallow? Em, WTFFFF????"

Let me just say.... I was at the concert we camped out for about two hours before. Had sick seats, like 40th row. Do not judge the crowd from youtube videos, because it was electric! Em and Porter were feeding off the energy and put on a great show. I'm guessing there was probably around 70 K plus at the show.

A few things from being there.....

He played a lot of Recovery which was to be expected. He did play kill you which was sick. He opened with Wont Back Down, which isn't my favorite song but it sure as hell got the crowd rocking. Great song live. Lose Yourself was such a dope encore.

Cee loo Green opened before and it sucked. Shady chants were getting pretty loud in the middle of his performance. You could tell he wasn't feelin it. I was pissed Lolla had him open, cuz considering everyone in the same area as me were only there for Eminem. They should of had another solid rapper open before, but oh well. I had great time in the greatest city in the world.
