New Eminem Delivery-The Whisper

Maybe em is gonna cut the shouting and go total opposite with the whisper.

If you listen to his recent Stan performances and A KIss it's almost like he is whispers, or speaking softly then kind of builds it up, is this the next delivery? I think it sounds pretty good, better than shouting imo.

I really hope youre right about the next album, one of the things i love about eminem is he always switches up his style, more recently with the accents/shouting, like them or not i think it's cool that he always changes his style. I would be down for an album that sounds like the reunion, it was one of my favorites on hell the sequel. i think the delivery was pretty dope, and really dug the concept, great storytelling, i feel like relapse was a lot of story telling and recovery wasnt at all.

That's excatly what I was thinking..
That fast double-time soft vocal that he used in Encore and TES.

He did somewhat of a whisper on LTWYL Part 2. Then again, there was barely a beat at the beginning, so it could have been just that.

But I like it when he builds up to a point with a small voice/whisper then really gets into it, like on "Where I'm At" when he says "I loved you with every ounce of me, you know it's true/ it's killing you now, YEAH I hope the ho dies slow in you! Now I don't trust at all, **** 'em, middle finger up, keep grabbing my balls, cup 'em, etc etc". Just perfect delivery.

If he wants to do angry rap, he should use the Underground/Westwood voice.

Nope.

He's always performed stan that way since his comeback.

Kiss was the only track with that sort of delivery.

Just accept the style he chooses to rap with or you don't and move on. I don't understand why such speculation?

I love his delivery at the beginning of his verse on LTWYL 2, but it's not really the same as the whispering delivery. But yeah, he does do it on Where I'm At for a little while.

Anyway, I first noticed it when he opened the VMAs. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-DUxRlbZfU&feature=related) I actually like it. It's good for a change, lol.

I don't understand why people would even try to imagine more redundancy and think he should have a delivery where he's devoted to having some kind of "signature complexion" for a large amount of tracks at a time rather than just adjusting his tone of voice for each beat like he should be doing (or was doing, when he found this delivery). A "whisper" would get annoying faster than any other type of gimmicky voice would, considering the very limited number of ways you can sound different while doing it unless you whisper to the point where the beat overpowers you. Unless, he starts whispering in accents . Also:

Accent > Whisper > Screaming
