SSLP - 4.5/5 - Some insane rhyming as well as a good array of topics covered. Witty and nasty. I think that this was a huge first album, yet musically it wasn't total perfection. The leading song was Role Model, with the other highlights being Rock Bottom, Bad Meets Evil and Still Dont Give A Fuck.
MMLP - 5/5 - My favourite album of all time. The rhyming was awesome, as were the beats. This was extremely versatile and the range of themes was mind-blowing. Kim was a stoke of pure genius and the best opening 20 seconds I have ever heard, it was horrifically realistic and filled with anger and raw emotion. I believe that Who Knew is one of the most under-rated songs from Em's whole career. Its again crude, offensive, funny and was put together very well with some solid rhymes. The Way I Am was fantastic, I could go on... Highlights for me have to be (if I have to be selective) Who Knew, The Way I Am, I'm Back, Marshall Mathers, Kim, Criminal.
TES - 4.75/5 - Excellent album, cant fault it in any way. I only gave it less than MMLP because I see that as the best album ever released by any artist. This album was a master-piece and very good musically. The album showed a more mature approach to songwriting, and had a crazy rhyming scheme. Highlights are White America, Cleanin Out My Closet, Soldier, Sing For The Moment, When The Music Stops.
Encore - 2.75/5 - Wasn't all bad. Much worse than the previous albums but there were some good tracks (Like Toy Soldiers, Mosh, Mockingbird). These are still comparatively weak by comparison though.
Relapse - 2.75/5 - Was creative, but listening to it gives me a headache. The accents just went straight through me.
Recovery - 3.75/5 - A very good return to form. More emphasis put on wordplay and puns in this album, which to be honest I liked (bar the 'evol' pun). The internal rhymes in Cold Wind Blows was the craziest thing I've ever seen (1st verse). A very honest album and an album to be proud of. Highlights for me - Cold Wind Blows, Going Through Changes, Space Bound, So Bad and Almost Famous.
