First, who the fuck is 441Mania & why should I give 2 fucks about their opinion?

Second, good to see Staind, Muse, System Of A Down, Sublime, Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Linkin Park, Incubus & Rage Against the Machine on there. Although i'm wondering why there's no KoRn, Disturbed, Godsmack, Slipknot, Evanescence or Marilyn Manson.

Oh there's rap on there too? Cool, I guess.

I think he meant how it's stupid how Blueprint is on there, but the SSLP isn't.

Finally, some proper recognition for The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show.

I always see them mentioned in best-of rap albums of the past X years lists but they're always way down at like 50 or something. When... unless I've missed a musical revolution in hip hop, there are not many better recent albums in the mainstream than those two. If any.

Glad to see The Eminem Show ahead of The Blueprint too. Not to keep ragging on Jay-Z as I do go overboard on disrespecting him. He is talented and can be very good, I just find him annoying. But The Blueprint does not hold a candle to Eminem's first three.

So it annoys me when I always see it like thirty spots ahead of them. It's like... The Blueprint, bigger... more important, more innovative, more... anything than MMLP? no fucking way. The Marshall Mathers LP was the album of a generation.

Also, I like My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and am a big Kanye fan, but I think putting that album at #5 of the past 15 years is a bit over the top lmao. It's a good, great album even. I see it as a fantastic, artistic, visionary album by a true artist. But the album has duds for me and lyrically there's a lot of pointless self-indulgence and pettiness, it's not even close to the magnitude of MMLP or TES in that regard.

Critics just wank over music, much more than lyrics. Where, I agree that it needs to be a balance. Recovery proved that just good lyrics doesn't work, shit music can ruin it. But even so, MBDTF - FIFTH fucking best of the past fifteen years? no way.

On MBDTF, Kanye rapped about more imaginary racism, South Park and SNL, Amber Rose and married a porn star in a bathroom. On TES, Em addressed white America, lyrically lambasted members of Congress, pissed on the lawn of the Whitehouse, did a square dance around Bush and the War and spat genius until he collapsed. No fucking contest, TES shits on MBDTF. Lmao at critics totally over-blowing Kanye's work just due to the production. Delusional.

I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
