Doubt about Beats by Dre Studio Headphones

I had 2 pairs of Dre Tours.... with both of them, the outer red ring split to expose the inner wiring - had to take them both back.

After the second pair of Dre Tours failed I went and bought the (then new) Dre Powerbeats. The first of which, within 24 hours, lost all sound in the right ear. The second of whcih, within a week, lost all sound in the right ear.

Dre earphones = fail.

Sound quality - yea the sound is pretty good I suppose. But I actually have more bass in my Sony earphones that cost me £50. Let's face it, the price is boosted a significant amount because of the Dre branding.

And now any Dre headphones/earphones are the last thing I'd buy. Why would I want something that so many people have? When I see little chavvy bellends wearing them it completely puts me off.

I have Solo HD (red nation) and there good, i only wear them in the house cuz id never wear them out since their too big, and i kinda find headphones annoying, so i wish i brought the Tours, or didnt bother with Dre beats at all. The sound is pretty good, not as amazing as people make out, but then again i play music loud on my hi fi so guess im used to good sound.

Must be a load of cheap fakes going round. Cant say ive seen any chavs wearing them, all i see is the occasional person wearing Solo's, and most of the time its just people wearing them as a fashion accessory since the wires not plugged in.
