I don't understand people who say he's more pop now like he hasn't always been. He had his own TRL special back in the day for fuck's sake. My Name Is, Without Me, The Real Slim Shady etc were pop made-for-MTV hits. The only difference now is the mass media; they're no longer whining about his "homophobic" and "sexist" lyrics but embracing him and praising him for his "comeback" making him more acceptable and less rebellious. But, real talk, not much has changed. He made songs with pop artists, so what? It was a natural progression. He's always been obsessed with them and yes one of them, promoted like them and eagerly embraced by the same fans. The last time he was not pop was before he was famous and people need to stop imagining otherwise.
