Really? You do realize alcohol is a much more dangerous drug than most illegal ones, right? You do also realize that the actual negative health effects are, again, more severe than that of many illegal drugs, don't you? Furthermore, are you aware of the fact that alcohol is more addictive than many illegal drugs?

Yes, I do realize all that. And I know what alcohol can do to a person. It's just that alcohol is accepted more socially.

I do get what you're saying. And most of the time it are those people who'll critisize someone who does drugs and look down on them, while it's just sad. I don't drink alcohol btw

Some of them do, but I also know some people who don't drink. And don't get me wrong, it's not like i 've never drunk anything,only on special occasions and it's been 4 months now.

I was one a schooltrip once to Germany and everybody was drinking, and there's a guy in my class, he's a Muslim. But that week, really it was unbelievable I never saw a person drink that much. And it was his first time drinking..he threw up and his whole room was full of puke. Twice

Yeah, where i live, it seems like the whole town goes to the same café/pub. Oh well Oh yeah also an important reason not to drink: most of the stuff is expensive. Beer isnt, but like the cocktails and longdrinks

Yes, it is. The end effects can be just as bad if you take too much, but shit, too much water will kill you.

The difference between alcohol and drugs is you know exactly what is in the alcohol, down to the ABV. You can pretty accurately know what will/won't fuck you up.

Drugs have come through so many sources to get to you, you really have no clue what you're doing. Guy at a party I was at had a seizure from "weed" my friends bought earlier that day, turns out it wasn't pure. I don't even need to say what's in shit like meth.

Pretty much, but a lot of drugs can be way more unpredictable than alcohol. A few people from my highschool died from heroin and like 10 others are doing 20+.

I don't smoke but I'm all for weed, pure weed is far less harmful than alcohol. I just don't fuck with drugs, never know what you're really taking. And even medical prescribed and over the counter stuff can do far more damage than alcohol.

If I ever did drugs--and I don't, since I'm a law-abiding citizen and whatnot--I would know exactly what I was taking.

If it was a narcotic, I would know because all of them are stamped with manufacturer identification. If it was an X tab, I would test it with a kit for adulterants. If it was Mescaline, I would know, because I would have sourced it myself. The same goes for psychedelic mushrooms.

If you're buying street heroin, you're not too concerned with safety. Same for any powder, really. My point is, all of the drugs I just listed can be used with either the same, or lower risk than that of alcohol. If we're going with pure drugs, I would still argue that alcohol is more damaging than many.
