There's tons of speculation being thrown around that Modric wants out of Tottenham. He isn't playing tonight against Utd because Harry said "his head's not right". Apparently we've launched a revised offer of £30m to land him. The only thing I can confirm is that Harry has left him out of the squad and that quote is legit.

Please Modric! Join Chelsea!

Just for him to pass the medical and the club to announce.

The only thing with Modric is it being Spurs they will grab every pound they can off of us. I can't see them going under £35Mil personally.

Also read a horrible rumour that annoys me because tons of people always believe what papers print. But apparently we are in a swap deal for meireles that means giving them Sturridge. The club can't be that stupid can it? :sweating:

Levy will defiantly get as much as he can off us. Even if we do pay over the odds for him, Roman has shown he is willing to open his cheque book to help reach our goals (£50m Torres). People can scrutinize him all they want, but he has shown a lot of commitment and involvement in Chelsea. That's a lot more than many other clubs can say about their chairman.

I really hope we get Modric, not only will I be able to laugh at people I know who support Spurs but he'll add a lot to the squad.

Delighted with uniteds quality of football.Took spurs to the cleaners in that second half.very interesting match with arsenal on sunday

Mata is a quality signing for chelsea.Might give a spark to Torres who is spectaculary shit  Modric would also be a great addition.I think McEachran should get more games aswell,he has looked very decent from the little ive seen of him

I havent been this optimistic about United's squad development in a while!! Wow, fantastic play from the youngsters, great promise from De Gea and Fergie actually putting the trust in someone like Johnny Evans (still below standard but more decent) was satisfying. Now, what we need is to manage the injuries... too many of those and our squad looks a tad bit thin.

De gea is only 20.and anyone that watches spanish football here regularly knows what he is capable of.Ive followed aleti for years and have seen him play many times.there is immense pressure on him replacin one of the best goalkeepers of the last 20 years at such a young age and big price tag.Ive no worries that he will come good :y:

Wouldn't be shocked seeing as Lukaku has been bought in and Torres is somehow keeping his place.

Looks like the Modric transfer is all but off now. Not too happy about that, he's a class player. On the bright side, he have Mata in our squad. I wonder if Villas has anyone else he wants to bring in.
