Why are you leaving the job?

There must be a clause in your Employment Document regarding the time they give you to give a notice for leaving the company ,you can't just leave like with that lame reason of moving away .

Listen ,it would be safe to cross over to the new job if only it is far away from your current working location ,because it could be a possibility that your current employer might see you there ,then ? he can raise a case against you ,that would be not right,'cuz he holds a ground to even sue you if he incurs a loss due to you .

So what you need to do is opt for VRS(Voluntary Retirement Scheme) ,idk about this being applicable at the place where you work , in this it has options where you can just tic the option that you have really found a job some where else and you get some benefits too. [At least we get it here] .

Here there is a 3 months clause for that .

Yes ! you can be sued because once you leave your employer would have to take up Expenses to put some other person in that place ,starting with putting up add's for that ,the whole recruitment process and the Induction ,Training ...... and when he finds that you are still there and working some where else then you know he will be mad .

You can still get out ,just give him that Resignation letter with the exact reason that you are leaving to work some where else ,approach a HR[Human Resource] Manager and he will help you with this.

I have encountered this because i am HRM Trainee myself ,i have helped people like you in the place i work .

Listen to your heart and do it . :y:

What. The. Fuck.

Are you guys talking about? Employment Document? Clauses? For real?

Where do you work, the CIA? Listen, dude. You're not going to get in trouble. You can't be sued for quitting. You can quit any time, for any reason. That's how it is in the U.S. anyway. Forced labor is sort of taboo here.

But let's be real man. Why are you wanting to lie about it? Just tell him that this job isn't for you. That's all you have to do. Or shit, just don't show up again. If you don't give your two weeks, it only makes it so you're not re-hirable to that company. He wouldn't give you a good reference if you put him down on your employment history, but you've already got the other job.

Damn, man.

Oh, well you're about as safe as you can get.

WalMart has no shortage of employees, and they don't give a shit about any of them.

You won't be missed. I'd say work your two weeks, but if they treat you like shit for leaving, just don't come back.

Needless to say, Abram is right.
