Don't you want it to be good?

I would die for it to be good. But i know that if Tech had sent the beat, with the verse on it (like he did for WWC), then Eminem would have been forced to be good. I mean, personally, its really frustrating that so many dope people know, want, and attempt to collaborate with him and he just lives in a "pop"/ "mainstream" bubble of associates.

Not if he was busy with Hell: The Sequel and Shady 2.0 shit.

Nope, it was two hours.

^Concession accepted. lol

Oh, Ironically Tech actually uses the words Fear and Eminem... anyone on TR work for Hiphopdx :shifty:

Oh, to AbramIssac and whoever else complains about all 6's and 7's- consider this album a way to "showcase skill" "gain fans" and "just go crazy with it" Tech N9ne is happy man, this is one of the biggest points of his career and any fan should be happy its like this. For "hardcore" fans there's still like 3 EPs in two years?

Whats so funny, Eminem "freestyles" he's good at making rhymes on the spot. He makes rhymes in seconds so why not 20 minutes? I mean, personally, the rhymes on the track are exactly "days work" are they?

Plus check this-
Ill Bill
I’m in shock every time I’m in the studio with Everlast [of
House of Pain] and I see how he does it. He constructs the
The Writing Process 145
rhyme in his head, on the spot, sits there and like 20 minutes,
half an hour later, he’s like, OK, I’m ready to go . . . [and he]
goes in the vocal booth with no paper and spits it.

Stat Quo
I’ve had good ones that took a couple of days, and I’ve had
good ones that took five minutes. [Eminem and Dr. Dre] just
prefer you to make a hot song, no matter how long it takes—
if you make a hit record every six months, nobody’s gonna be
mad at that. If it takes you three months to write one “In Da
Club,” that’s fine—records like that stay around forever.

B-Real, Cypress Hill
I think if you’re on a roll and you’re feeling the vibe, songs
sort of just write themselves. Definitely “Insane in the Brain”
came like that, “Rock Superstar,” “Dr Greenthumb”—a lot
of the songs. I think sometimes those faster ones turn out
to be the really good ones. With “Dr Greenthumb” I think I
wrote that song in like 40 minutes and recorded it in another
40 minutes, maybe an hour tops. That’s like an anthem for
us—that beat just took me somewhere really fast. I couldn’t
explain it—how fast I wrote it, how fast we laid it down

Royce Da 5'9"
I take my time—I don’t never feel it’s a rush. I can take two
hours and write a verse, [and then] somebody else can write
[a verse], not even write it down, memorize it off the top of
the head, and go spit it in 30 minutes, and if my verse is better,
then who’d you rather be? So I pride myself on quality
over quantity, even though I can knock out a lot of shit pretty
fast, but that’s just icing on the cake—that’s not something I
strive for. If I can get it done fast, then cool, but I just go for
the quality.

Em should take longer with his work.

And INAD is proof of that? Thats actually been (for me) his biggest weakness last three years. He makes good music but just doesnt seem to "perfect it" you know what i mean? Like, if he had made two albums during that time and spent as much time making them as he did on 8 mile tracks he'd have won over internet geeks and "hip hop heads" and not just stans like me.

wow, someone got offended for no reason

Almost as if your defending Eminem on not taking time with his lyrics? Yeah, ookay

I never said he couldn't do it in 20 minutes, I assumed he couldn't. I also hope he doesn't in the future.

exactly, although I doubt he's heard of a few people on that list and Immortal Technique sucks.

If I was Em you'd better believe I'd be making songs with Atmosphere, Nas, AOTP, Hopsin, Jay-Z, DMX, Celph Titled/Apathy, Rhyme Asylum, Andre 3000, Xzibit, Copywrite, J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Soul Khan, Tech N9ne etc. Not fucking around with the likes of Nicki and Wayne :facepalm What kind of legacy is he trying to leave in the eyes of Hip-Hop heads. He could have every one of the rappers listed above and WAY more at any point and time he wants. He's really letting precious time slip away, he's almost 40.

:coffee:
DX: Yeah, that’s what I heard about the Eminem thing, that supposedly he shunned you out of fear.

Tech N9ne: Nah, I don’t think he’s fearful, man. That nigga’s damn-near like the best rapper out here, when it comes to technique, technical rhyming, wordplay and shit like that. [So] I’m like, Goddamn, I don’t think that. I don’t think that personally, I just think it’s a thing that niggas didn’t have time. Those muthafuckas was busy and time didn’t permit. We work quick, nigga. Muthafuckas send me a beat, you might have it back the next day, or the same night. I’m on it if I’m in the studio. But some muthafuckas got shit to do. Paul Rosenberg said they couldn’t do it within a month’s time. And, the mastering date was in two weeks, [so] I’m like, “Damn, sorry, I called too late.” I just put it on that. But the fans gonna make it sound like, Aw, he don’t wanna rap wit’ Tech. Why he ain’t never rapped wit’ Tech? It’s like, he ain’t gotta give a fuck about Tech N9ne. Who the fuck is Tech N9ne? We did a song [way back] in ’99, [“The Anthem”]. He got homies he gotta put out [right now]. Why he gonna help some other muthafuckin’ nigga? Much love to Wayne for doing what he did, ‘cause he didn’t have to do that. But, some muthafuckas, they gotta do they people first. I don’t think Em scared of no muthafuckin’ lyricists. He is the lyricist.
