I honestly don't know how u guys can say CAB is bad, it's probably my favorite off the album. It's ridiculous how awesome the song is.

If there were more songs like Stay Wide Awake and Same Song & Dance I would have loved Relapse, but overall it's a wack album. Give me another Recovery any day.

Agreed.

Lyrically, Relapse is a gem. Ignoring the use of the accent to obtain this feat, it's pretty amazing; but thats the thing, it's better when he doesn't have to use something to rhyme. Plus Relapses random rhyming sometimes makes me go 'danggggggg, check them syllables', but then again sometimes they make me say 'wowwww...abit to random, huh?'

Overall(Lyrics, Sound-Wise, content, production, emotion, flow of album, variety) Recovery is a better album, imo

But Relapse has better beats.. It makes it more enjoyable.. And the accent adds so fucking much. Always loved it.

It's a shame this album didn't get as much love as it's getting now when it came out.

Everything he said really explains it but I think this line pretty much sums it up well enough

"Put some emotion back into what I’m saying"

I'm sure even a Relapse thumper would understand what he means in this interview..

I didn't think relapse was great when I first heard, bar bagpipes from baghdad and underground which have always been my favourites from it, but when i listen now and hear the effort he put in to the lyricism, i'm impressed.

I wouldn't say it's his prime by any means though. I still say it's the TES and 8 mile era.

That's pretty much the gimmicky trend to say against Relapse fans, personally I've always loved Relapse as much as I loved Recovery when they're first released, but the difference is my opinion changed a bit on Recovery and I only loved Relapse more.

In your opinion, is Relapse better all around than Recovery?

He thinks Relapse is Em's best album tbh. So the answer is obvious.

I, on the other hand, believe Recovery is actually significantly better than Relapse. Even more so than I did a few weeks ago. What fucks Recovery up is the production and the lazy rhyming at times. His flow really wasn't bad at all, it was good, way better than on HTS. Won't Back Down's flow wasn't bad and I'm willing to debate that, it meshed with the beat perfectly. Given, Relapse flow > Recovery flow at times but it's close.

Recovery's replay value stomps on Relapse's too. Both of 'em have two classic Eminem tracks in GTC and Deja Vu though. Cannot decide which one is better anymore.
