The majority here seem to support the top 4 teams in the premiership so I imagine it would cost an arm and a leg.

Yeah this year is my 11th season ticket. It was about 460 quid but because I am away at Uni i shared the cost with another city fan and he goes whenever I can't make it and pays some money to me! so it's ok.

It's only through my season tickets i got to see the 2 Wembley Games last year. Unbelievable.

btw, the cheapest city season ticket is 260 quid. pretty good considering everyone reckons we are a heinous club.

gonna cost me more than 2000$ (let's say), to go to a chelsea game, well, i'm more than happy of cheering chelsea through the tv for a while hahaha

currently, I have less than 10$

google "beirut to london cheap flights" and you'll find loads less expensive than that

Just seen tickets

beirut - london
london - beirut

^ and it's £548 return

that works out at $880 USD

probably get some cheaper than that too

Why zero chance? Aren't they available for sale a few weeks before the game, just like the others?

I HATE international break... I used to enjoy watching them when I was younger... but you see better football during the season then International matches. Espeically since the only team I support is England... But I can't stand cheering or even really celebrating anything a Man United player does I.E. the Rooney brace the other day. Clapped when Cahill scored though. I would enjoy watching it much more if it wasn't for United being in it... Seeing as though they've also ruined two of the last three world cups for England.

They are but we are talking about people going for a "one off" game. Because a lot of interest surrounds these games they are usually sold on loyalty points which you gain from going to other games over the course of that season, Or if it is one of the first games of the season they use last seasons points to determine who deserves the right to buy tickets for these games more.

Oh I get it. Aren't there people who re-sell these kinds of tickets on the streets?

So if you reserve a gold package it is certain that you're gonna have a ticket for the game, right? I think it's a pretty good deal for foreigners who don't have points. Thanks for the info man! :b:

I heard that Abramovich decided to take some of the chelsea players to a night club in spain.

They were swarmed by all the people in the club wanting their autographs

One woman asked Frank Lampard to sign her leg so he did

Another asked John Terry to sign her tits so he did

Lastly, one woman pulled down her knickers and asked Roman Abramovich to sign, and he said "No, last time I signed a Spanish cunt it cost me £50 million."

At least the international break is done for a while!

We've got three awesome games to look forward to packed in 8 days. Sunderland on Saturday, Leverkusen next Tuesday and Man Utd the following Sunday. :y:

The way I see it at the end of the season it will be:

1) Man Utd (as much as I hate to say it)
2) Man City (i see them giving Man Utd a real run for their money)
3) Chelsea (still a force, but squad is a tad old and too many players past their best)
4) Liverpool (definitely improving and looking good with Suarez leading the front)

I support Arsenal (don't ask me why) and predict we'll finish 6th or 7th this season. The club is a shambles from top to bottom and needs a complete overhaul.

Swap Chelsea with City and I think you've got yourself what the league will look like at the end. City are running great, but they're not a better team than Chelsea. Not to mention now we have Mata in who made an instant impact to give us that width we need.

I'm looking forward to City vs Chelsea.

Actually, i think that Arsenal have a better chance of winning games and getting the Play-off position. People seem to randomly forget about Arsenal's consistent appearance in the competition for about 8 years now  Its not just one or two star signings (Adam and Suarez) or bringing in overrated British talent (Carrol and Downing) that makes you win games. Its about getting down to the job and winning enough and necessary points to proceed. With their 5 new signings as well they have a better chance.
