Thanks Kez for track by track feed. I'm glad you thought it was alright. You said that the hook on I Hate Myself was hard to understand when both of us were on it at the same time, but I've gotta tell you it was all MC Anonymous and I could understand him just fine. There are no parts on this EP where we overlap each other, we considered it but decided it might sound like shit and be hard to pull off. I will try not being so technical with my flowing. Again, thanks.

01. Chaos Theory
lol @ the intro. I like both verses. Anon's verse was my fav on this although he needs to speak a bit clearer, sounds very spitti lol. But I had fun listening to this, pretti fun intro.

02. I Hate Myself
I like the beat, fucking awsome choice. although the master mix is too low, and the mixing in general is a bit weird. Anon's verse was good but I noticed same problem as before, like a lot of struggle to speak clear. Some funny ass lines tho. The hook reminds me a lot of Freeway's voice and style. I liked it. Solace your verse was really dope aswell, great flow. Very enjoyable track, and I'm glad to see ya'll tackling on different song feelings. good stuff

03. Melancholy Melodies
oh this fucking beat :shakehead: The first time I heard this song didn't liked it too much tbh. Mc Anon's verse sounds super monotone, the lyrics are dope and deep aswell, but I dont feel the emotion at all. Solace was banging on this. the flow its a bit choppier than your previous songs, but at the end, on the "meant to be" parts, that is great, the shine of the song honestly, I like the feeling on your verse. I guess its a good song, but its a bit hard to get into for some reason.

04. Thanatology
yeah, I fed this before, it probably was my favourite song of the EP as well, fucking brilliant. and Anon should really stick to this style, just with a bit more emotion. but yeah, fed already.

05. Farewell
This track made me go HOLY FUCK. Solace, your starting verse made almost made me shit myself, its a-fucking-great. One of my favourite verses from you, and the hook, man, thats making me look bad, great hook. and damn, I'm gonna sound like a hater, but dont get me wrong, I'm really tryng to sound as un-biased and supportive as possible, but anon's verse couldn't really get into. Very exaggerated lol. some of the lines where really awsome, but I think it messed the vide of the song. "Glad you aborted, the world doesn't need a sped in the projects" I lol'd.... Good ass track none-the less. :y:

Overall:
for a little EP it was really good, and I will be bumping Thanatology and I hate Myself quite a bit. I enjoyed it a lot. as for the feedback I can give is for Solace, the biggest thing that seems to be holding you down is that you sometimes rush the flow, like you either end lines too early or too late. On the good notes, your creativity is great, your voice is perfect. Keep up your good work. Now as far as mc anonymous feedback, he needs to sound more natural and real, His rhymes are really good, but there's really nothing that jumps out (in general terms), he needs to be more creative and switch his flow to different styles, like on Thanatology I think and to be careful when he raps cuz some words are not clear enough. On the good note, his technique never fails to impress, good way to structure rhymes and write raps.

I hope my feedback helped you guys. I enjoyed this EP. and I really hope you guys do more. I would even like to produce a track for you if you like :y: Good work. :b:

Instead of doing a track by track review, I'll just point out the pros and cons of the EP and of your work in general. Overall, the EP was good. There weren't any frills, and nothing particularly spectacular was done, but the fact of the matter is you guys made something at home that is actually listenable and quite enjoyable. Not many artists on TR (or online for that matter) can say that. I'd rate the project a 7.5/10 overall, and that's mostly because the beats weren't as fitting to the content as they could have been, and some of the flow choices on those beats were odd. Lyrically, it was one of the better projects I've heard here, and for the most part the quality was listenable.

Solace: You're a lot better than I remember. Although your flow drowns out a lot, that's a minor issue because you can clearly flow and control your delivery. Lyrically, you were mostly good, with only a handful of questionable lines. Your rhyming was superior on the EP, mostly because you rhymed less often in a single line, despite the compression of some lines. This is a noble go, though, and you've clearly got a direction in mind. Work on your flow a tad, and try to spread your rhymes around more and you should be ace. Overall: 8/10.

Angel: Your delivery has improved so much that it's almost hard to compare to your older offerings. Of course, this is a good thing, as your delivery sounds mostly pro and only fails when you speed up too much. Although your flow falls short of great in many instances on the EP, you have some moments where you shine bright enough to make up for the slow moments. Lyrically, you're much better than you used to be, and probably one of the better writers to drop material here. The main thing I would fix is the over usage of rhymes. Some of your lines would be MUCH better if they didn't have as many multies. Overall: 8/10.

Sorry for any typos, I'm on a netbook. I tried to keep this as unbiased as possible. :b:

I appreciate it both of you.Through reading these, I can tell my main target to work on is flow and rhyme structure. Glad you enjoyed Farewell on my part Big Ax lol, I like the hook too. Surprised that it seems me and Anonymous duked it out evenly on this, I feel as though his verses were much better than mine. Again, thanks guys. :worship:

Indeed, it's my favorite track as well, you can easily feel the emotions there. Anonymous' delivery and quadraple multi rhymes was insane

Solace though my favorite verse by you was the Thanatology verse, definitely.

Glad you really enjoyed the tape CREAM. Always appreciated. :y:
