What mistake did I make? I pointed out that since 2005 there have only been 2 teams in each league that have won the title every year; in Spain its been Barca and Real, and in the Premiership it's been Chelsea and Man Utd. Then I got told that there are 4 or 5 really big teams in England which I disagreed with but conceded that Man City are now a big club - but only in the last year at most on the sole basis that they've been bought by a multi-billionare. I haven't made any mistakes there.

In other news I did some smallish bets on first goalscorers. Paddy power say they refund any losing bets (in certain markets) if Chelsea win so I figure why not?

When you said his mistake, who were you referring to, then?

O.k, what I am personally referring to is the fact that you are trying to make it seem like a fact City are only there because of the amount they have spent. Which frankly is always the go to excuse for anyone making a anti-Chelsea or anti-City point. There are so many other issues that play into building a successful team other than money. if money was the only factor then Chelsea would of won the Champs league years ago. City would already be English champions and Real Madrid would of won la liga the last few years.

Hell even Liverpool have had rich owners for last few years before there current ones. But that itself goes to show there is always more factors than money, it is a business that needs running effectively and that can show on the pitch money or no money. But no, City will get tarnished with the same "they are ruining football brush" we did once they win the prem. Like Cityfan said tho, United spend just as much over the years but noone bats a eyelid and then actually notice the other factors that money cant buy...

But I wasn't even trying to make an anti-City comment. It is a fact that they are where they are now because they have been invested in by one of the richest people on the planet. No, money is not everything in producing a successful team, and City are yet to be a successful team. Until they win the Premiership and/or Champions League they will not be one. But the fact is they are now considered a big team and challengers for the Premiership because they have been invested in and have had massive funds available to bring in quality solely because of their new owners. Are you trying to tell me that they've had an amazing manager who has somehow cunjured this sudden leap in quality over 1 year? Come on, be real. And again, I'm not trying to be anti-City. I fucking wish Arsenal FC could get new owners who would be willing to invest in the club. Do City still need a good manager to lead them to glory? Of course. Do they still need a supportive board who are in tune with the sentiments of the fans and want the best for Mancheste City FC? Without doubt. But it is simply undeniable that they wouldnt be where they are now without the money that has been invested in them.

Despite the scoreline we're playing really well. Torres is playing class and Sturridge missed practically a tap in.

Can't believe Sturridge missed that.

It's over now. 3-0 first half, pathetic. Sloppy defending, get Luiz in there. Terry's had his day.

Chelsea are shit? Do you even watch the games or do you base your opinions on scorelines? Saying Chelsea are shit is beyond ignorant. Explain to me how they are "shit"?

I'm not agreeing with One Mic but they really need to rethink some stuff, they have great players but Boas's problem is that he still doesn't know how to get everything out of them.

Their performance the last few games has been very impressive. Chelsea are moving the ball around better than they ever have. We have much more depth and creativity in our squad now. Even though we're 3-0 down, we haven't played awful. We've had numerous chances.

People love to slag of Chelsea when really, some don't know what they're talking about.
