I'm still waiting on how Chelsea are shit mate. Clips of misses really doesn't justify such a statement. If you look hard enough, you'd find many like that for other clubs.

I dont think you can compare Rooney's miss to that of Torres,i mean One was a penalty which anybody can miss and the other was an open net even a 10 year old would put away.i know you're trying to defend torres and all,but trying to make Rooney's Pen as bad as that open net miss is laughable.

I wasn't comparing the miss, I can see how it could be perceived like that though. I was just saying if Torres were to miss that penalty in the way Rooney did, he would have been slaughtered for it. People love to hate on him, it's the truth. I won't defend Torres' miss but I will praise his overall performance. :y:

Torres is just an amateur comparing to Ilija Sivonjić. The ball was actually going in the goal and he missed. A work of a true artist...

Yes Torres is gonna get 50x more attention for any of his misses than Rooney. But that's because Torres has an awful goalscoring record at Chelsea, whereas Rooney is absolutely on fire right now. So every opportunity Torres fails to take (and Torres' chance was a genuinelly easy one that he had the opportunity to finish while still upright on both feet, whereas Rooney slipped completely accidentally and was screwed before his foot had even touched the ball) is naturally going to be scrutinised a lot more, and justifiably so.

No doubt. Enough with the Torres debate, it's not going anywhere lol. Yeah it was an awful miss but he was on fire that game, great to see him playing like that.

I hope he can continue, he'll be a pleasure to watch this season. It's obvious why he's playing better though, Chelsea are now moving the ball around at a decent tempo! That's something which has been non-existent the last few years. Not to mention how out creativity has improved since Mata and Meireles joined.

Roll on the Carling Cup!

Chelsea's Andre Villas-Boas makes referee complaint

Good on him. Two of those goals were offside. There's no point crying over spilt milk but at least he's recognised the poor decisions and acted upon it. Not to mention the "penalty" which was given.
