I love Superman The 'money, cars, hoes' content is the main focus in the music you see on tv. But there are a lot of rappers with different content too, but the masses tends to generalize rappers and thinks all they talk about is that. On the other hand, people act like Eminem is the only one who doesn't do it.

Recovery has its moments where it showcases solid writing. There's Cold Wind Blows, On Fire, GTC, So Bad, LTWYL, YNO (particularly second verse) etc. By no stretch of the imagination is the album poorly written, just some songs aren't structured that well.

Apart from Encore, I agree that his past albums have been better written.
