Listened to all of "Relapse" today after

a couple bowls. :smoking:

And, I got to say. It is a genius album. His flow, the beats, the different characters he takes on.

My question is this. I know most people say Em can't be the old 90's/early 00's Eminem again. BUT, do you think Em, if he wanted, could make another "Relapse"? Songs with that type of flow, and those rhymes, and taking on different voices, sarcasm, etc?

The flow was basic and wasn't like the way it is now, where he's flowing fast as fuck. Some prefer the new one, I really like both.

But do you think he could make more shit like Relapse, where he gets into a character and writes from that perspective?
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

I think that, too. I think it's just a matter of which direction he wants to go in.

Yes ,he can he is an versatile Rapper so doing another Relapse type of thing is easy for him.But sadly he wont do that considering all the criticism that he would get for the Album(Like the reviews that Relapse got) , so i doubt he is gonna do that.

His next album will have a new style.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

2nd verse on Must Be The Ganja
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

"Relapse" sounded so....believable, though. I don't know how else to explain it.

Without "Beautiful" and "Crack a Bottle", Relapse is VERY near a classic to me.

I'm sure the sequel would of been right up there with my favourite Em albums.

It's still very Relapse-esque, in that sense.

Yeah well that song just about fits to me...

It was still intended for a different album and it's clearly a transition stage for Em... in style.

But, his style is close enough to the rest of the album and the production sounds similar to the rest. So that track I can just about accept.

Still, without those two, it's basically perfect to me.

You always talk about how, without Beautiful, Relapse would be this or that...

I'm guessing you surely aren't saying Beautiful is unneeded, bad, dislikeable, wasted, etc etc...right?
