They could have settled for an EP at least.
Thinking about that in the current scene seems a bad idea .I'm not saying that their chemistry is not there but the Impact that this Collaboration would have will be limited to the Pre - Album period only (If they ever make an Album together that is). The 1st single would develop some Hype that would last a few days ,then it would fade away gradually until the LP comes out.It would sell though because ...
BME is said to have more cohesiveness but the EP is loosing it's visibility (Maybe because it's just an EP lol).Even though people are accepting this duo but....some how I feel that this EP [H:TS] is not getting that much attention that it deserves. Lyrically this EP is top notch but somehow that craze is missing. It's not being discussed that much in Forums (Take this Forum for instance) ,Blogs etc etc.
Exactly, that's what I said actually. Eventhough it's hard to critisize Interscope considering the success overall, the timing have been poor from day one & the missed chances have been too many. Basically Em's charisma have beed the clean up factor to all those bad decisions.
Still if Em and 50 planned and had the enough time to put everything else aside, they could do a really dope & memorable album considering all the history & the empires they got, but unfortunatelly they don't have that time for it.
It's like a Shady/G-Unit Re-Up 2 album would do too, but if EM & 50 featured on all songs, as label heads and the rest of the artists just contribute & rep the labels. That would be the perfect subject matter for an EM/50 album as it'd be all about the history, legacy and the status of what Em and 50 represent together as artists and label owners. That would be the ultimate way to expose all their artists as a whole too and it doesn't even matter Eminem's or Crooked I's verses would be put against Bizarre's or Yayo's. Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit suppose to be the evolved, modern day Juice Crew IMO.
