All of Eminem's verse was good. Some spots were obviously much more impressive than the rest but that's usually always how it goes, with anybody.
Some great rhymes and bursts of flow, a slight evolution in style.
Royce was not that good either. I saw somebody say his verse 'underrated'

- I see everybody saying he killed it. I think he gets overrated due to the fact he's associated with Em and a lot of people feel like he doesn't get enough credit for his Bad Meets Evil work. So they overcompensate.
But aside from his rhymes and good flow(s), he's rarely lyrically outstanding to me. At best he comes off as 'Eminem light' as in, he tries to emulate Em's tongue-in-cheek and pop-culture references, which obviously are not solely identifiable with Em - lots of rappers do this but...
Royce openly admits to being influenced by Em and regarding him as the greatest, and better than him though. And you can hear the homage to Em's style / attitude in his lyrics now. Which is fine, but I don't find them to be particularly great or entertaining.
I like Royce, both as a rapper and as a person, but to suggest his lyrics in that cypher were incredible or on par with Em's just ain't true. His phrasing and ideas were nowhere near as interesting. A lot of his stuff falls flat in the wit arena to me, and just comes off as silly.
Joe Budden and Em both easily had the top two for me.
